His Excellency Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call today, Friday, March 6, 2026, from His Excellency Dr. Constantinos Kombos, Foreign Minister of the friendly Republic of Cyprus, in which His Excellency Dr. Constantinos Kombos expressed the Republic of Cyprus's solidarity with the State of Kuwait in the face of the Iranian aggression that targeted the country, and emphasized the importance of respecting the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait and its territorial integrity.

تلقى معالي الشيخ جراح جابر الأحمد الصباح، وزير الخارجية، اليوم الجمعة الموافق 6 مارس 2026، اتصالاً هاتفياً من معالي الدكتور كونستانتينوس كومبوس، وزير خارجية جمهورية قبرص الصديقة، حيث أعرب معالي الدكتور كونستانتينوس كومبوس عن تضامن جمهورية قبرص مع دولة الكويت إزاء العدوان الإيراني الذي استهدف البلاد، والتأكيد على أهمية احترام سيادة دولة الكويت وسلامة أراضيها.

Due to the regional developments in the wider Middle East, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus advises Cypriot citizens in the region to remain vigilant, closely monitor announcements by the local authorities, as well as information from international and local media, and take maximum protective measures.

Cypriot citizens in the region are also called to register on the online platform for Cypriots abroad Connect2CY, and to follow the social media accounts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus and the Diplomatic Missions.

Εξαιτίας των περιφερειακών εξελίξεων στην ευρύτερη περιοχή της Μέσης Ανατολής, το Υπουργείο Εξωτερικών συνιστά στους Κύπριους πολίτες που βρίσκονται στην περιοχή να παραμένουν σε εγρήγορση, να παρακολουθούν στενά τις εξελίξεις και τις πληροφορίες από τις κατά τόπους αρχές των χωρών όπου βρίσκονται, καθώς και τα διεθνή και τοπικά μέσα ενημέρωσης, εφαρμόζοντας τα μέγιστα μέτρα προστασίας.
