From May 19 to September 30, the international exhibition “Leonardo da Vinci: Genius of the Renaissance” will be presented in Astana for the first time at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation.

More than 40 full-scale models of Leonardo da Vinci’s inventions, multimedia installations, LED tunnels, and digital projections will reveal how the visionary ideas of the great thinker were centuries ahead of their time.

Astana welcomed one of the season’s largest open-air music events with SOLANA Festival ✨

Held at Astana Golf Club, the festival brought together over 47,000 spectators and more than 4,000 tourists, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with music, lights, and unforgettable moments.

International artists, large-scale stage production, and immersive visual shows turned the evening into a major celebration of modern music and festival culture in the capital 🌍

On May 21 and 22, Astana Opera will host the world premiere of the opera “Appak, The Kipchak Daughter” ✨

Inspired by the drama of Gabit Musrepov, the new production tells the story of love between Nizami Ganjavi and the Kipchak beauty Appak, who became a symbol of beauty, wisdom, and the spiritual strength of the Great Steppe.

Large-scale stage design, national motifs, live music, and the atmosphere of grand opera will make this performance one of the brightest cultural events of the spring season in the capital.
