General information
Cooperation between the EU and the Government of Kazakhstan is based on a Financing Agreement signed between the European Union and the Government of Kazakhstan in June 2011.
The contract for the implementation of the project has been awarded to GDSI Limited (Ireland) in consortium with Ecorys Nederland BV (the Netherlands), GOPA Consultants (Germany), Shannon Development (Ireland), and NIIR (Kazakhstan).
The overall value of the project is 6,288,000 million EUR.
The project will be implemented at the national level and regional levels: East-Kazakhstan Region, Kyzylorda Region and Mangystau Region were selected in consultation between the Government of Kazakhstan and the Delegation of the EU to be the three pilot regions benefiting from the project.
