เมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางปิยะพิณ นิยมฤกษ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัสตานา ได้เข้าร่วมเยี่ยมชมงานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติ InterFood Astana 2026 ณ EXPO International Exhibition Center กรุงอัสตานา คาซัคสถาน โดยในโอกาสดังกล่าว เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้เยี่ยมชมบูทของบริษัท Pacific Innofood (PFP Innofood) ของไทยที่เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงสินค้าอาหารและนวัตกรรมอาหารจากประเทศไทย โดยบริษัทฯ ได้นำเสนอผลิตภัณฑ์อาหารพร้อมรับประทานด้วยเทคโนโลยีรีทอร์ท อาทิ ต้มยำ ต้มข่า แกงมัสมั่น แกงเหลือง และแกงเขียวหวาน ซึ่งสะท้อนเอกลักษณ์อาหารไทยในรูปแบบที่ตอบโจทย์ผู้บริโภคยุคใหม่ นอกจากนี้ บริษัทฯ ยังได้นำเสนอผลิตภัณฑ์อาหารเพื่อสุขภาพและอาหารฟังก์ชัน Longevity Noodles ซึ่งเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์เส้นทางเลือกแบบ plant-based พร้อมคุณค่าทางโภชนาการเฉพาะด้าน อาทิ โปรตีนจากพืช ไฟเบอร์ คอลลาเจน และสูตรส่งเสริมสุขภาพลำไส้ เพื่อตอบสนองแนวโน้มผู้บริโภคที่ให้ความสำคัญกับสุขภาพและการมีอายุยืน

ในโอกาสนี้ เอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้หารือกับผู้ประกอบการไทยเกี่ยวกับโอกาสการขยายตลาดสินค้าอาหารไทยในคาซัคสถานและภูมิภาคเอเชียกลาง ซึ่งเป็นตลาดที่มีศักยภาพเติบโตสูง โดยเฉพาะสำหรับกลุ่มอาหารพร้อมรับประทาน อาหารเพื่อสุขภาพ และผลิตภัณฑ์ฮาลาล ทั้งนี้ งาน InterFood Astana เป็นงานแสดงสินค้านานาชาติด้านอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม วัตถุดิบ บรรจุภัณฑ์ และเทคโนโลยีอาหารที่สำคัญของคาซัคสถาน ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปี โดยปีนี้ จัดระหว่างวันที่ 13 - 15 พฤษภาคม 2569 เพื่อส่งเสริมการเชื่อมโยงทางธุรกิจระหว่างผู้ผลิต ผู้นำเข้า ผู้จัดจำหน่าย และนักลงทุนจากคาซัคสถาน เอเชียกลาง และนานาประเทศ โดยการเข้าร่วมของผู้ประกอบการไทยในครั้งนี้สอดคล้องกับนโยบายการทูตเศรษฐกิจเชิงรุก (Proactive Economic Diplomacy) ของไทยในการผลักดันสินค้าและนวัตกรรมไทยเข้าสู่ตลาดใหม่ที่มีศักยภาพ โดยเฉพาะในภูมิภาคเอเชียกลาง

*Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan Advances Thailand’s Proactive Economic Diplomacy at InterFood Astana International Exhibition*

On 13 May 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, visited InterFood Astana 2026 at the EXPO International Exhibition Center in Astana, Kazakhstan. On this occasion, the Ambassador visited the booth of Pacific Innofood (PFP Innofood), a Thai company showcasing Thai food products and food innovations at the exhibition. The company presented its ready-to-eat products developed with retort technology, including Tom Yum, Tom Kha, Massaman Curry, Yellow Curry, and Thai Green Curry, reflecting the unique identity of Thai cuisine in formats that meet the demands of modern consumers. In addition, the company also showcased its health-oriented and functional food products under the Longevity Noodles line, an innovative plant-based noodle product enriched with specific nutritional benefits such as plant-based protein, dietary fiber, collagen, and gut-health formulations, responding to growing consumer demand for wellness and healthy longevity.

During the visit, the Ambassador also held discussions with the Thai entrepreneur on opportunities to expand Thai food products into Kazakhstan and the wider Central Asian market, particularly in the segments of ready-to-eat meals, health foods, and halal-certified products, which demonstrate strong growth potential. InterFood Astana, organized this year on 13 - 15 May 2026, is one of Kazakhstan’s leading international exhibitions for food, beverages, ingredients, packaging, and food technologies, held annually to promote business networking among manufacturers, importers, distributors, and investors from Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and other countries. The participation of Thai entrepreneurs in this event is in line with Thailand’s Proactive Economic Diplomacy policy, which aims to promote Thai products and innovations in emerging high-potential markets, particularly in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

เมื่อวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2569 นางปิยะพิณ นิยมฤกษ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอัสตานา ได้เป็นประธานร่วมในพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันชกมวยไทยรุ่นเยาวชนระดับชาติของคาซัคสถาน ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยสหพันธ์มวยไทยแห่งคาซัคสถาน และการสนับสนุนจากกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬาของคาซัคสถาน เพื่อคัดเลือกเยาวชนคาซัคสถานเป็นตัวแทนประเทศไปร่วมการแข่งขัน IFMA World School Championship ที่กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ มาเลเซีย และการแข่งขัน IFMA Youth World Championship ที่กรุงพริสตินา คอซอวา โดยมีผู้แทนจากภาครัฐ ผู้บริหารสหพันธ์ฯ นักกีฬา และผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมงานเป็นจำนวนกว่า 500 คน

*Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan Co-Presides over the Opening Ceremony of the National Youth Muay Thai Championship of Kazakhstan*

On 27 April 2026, H.E. Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, co-presided over the opening ceremony of the Muaythai Youth Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was organized by the Muaythai Federation of Kazakhstan with the support of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan, with and aim of selecting Kazakh youth athletes to represent the country at the IFMA World School Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the IFMA Youth World Championship in Pristina, Kosovo. The ceremony was attended by more than 500 people who are representatives from the government sector, executives of Muaythai Federation of Kazakhstan, the athletes, and a large number of spectators.

On this occasion, the Ambassador commended the Muaythai Federation of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and all relevant Kazakh agencies for their continued efforts in promoting Muaythai, the national sport of Thailand, in Kazakhstan. She emphasized that Muaythai is not merely a martial art, but also a representation of Thai identity, culture, and national pride. She further recognized athletes, coaches, and all stakeholders as “Ambassadors of Thailand,” who play an important role in promoting Thailand’s Soft Power through Muay Thai and in strengthening the relations between Thailand and Kazakhstan through sports. She also conveyed her best wishes for the success of the competition.

Muaythai has been promoted in Kazakhstan since 1998 and has gained significant popularity nationwide. A large number of Kazakh youths are actively engaged in Muaythai training across more than 60 training centers covering all 16 regions of the country. The growth of Muaythai in Kazakhstan represents a clear example of using sports as a mechanism to connect cultures and strengthen international relations. In this regard, Muaythai has become an important component of Thailand’s Soft Power, contributing to greater mutual understanding and closer people-to-people ties between Thailand and Kazakhstan in a continuous and sustainable manner.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Astana Participates in Spring Fest 2026 at Maqsut Narikbayev University

On 29 April 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana, participated in “Spring Fest 2026,” held at Maqsut Narikbayev University in Astana. The event is an annual festival organized by the University with the aim of promoting mutual cultural understanding, broadening students’ perspectives, and providing a platform for cultural diversity through the participation of foreign embassies and international organizations based in Astana.

On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy set up a booth to showcase Thai culture, featuring Thai cuisine, including “Kratong Thong,” which attracted significant interest from students and participants. The atmosphere of the event was vibrant, offering attendees opportunities to learn about and experience cultural diversity through various activities, including international food tasting and cultural performances.

The Embassy’s participation in this event represents an important opportunity to promote Thailand’s image and Soft Power among youth and academic institutions in Kazakhstan. It also contributed to strengthening people-to-people ties, which form a vital foundation of international relations, in line with Thailand’s proactive diplomatic policy to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan and the broader Central Asian region.

On 26 April 2026, Her Excellency Mrs. Piyapin Niyomrerks, Ambassador of Thailand to Kazakhstan, together with officials and their families, and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy in Astana, participated in the CICA Spring Charity Bazaar held at the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA). On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy showcased popular Thai cuisine, including Tom Yum and Pad Thai, as well as Thai food products and other Thai goods, which attracted considerable interest from visitors. The event provided an excellent opportunity to promote Thailand’s Soft Power, particularly in the areas of cuisine and tourism. The Royal Thai Embassy donated all proceeds from its participation in the event to the CICA Secretariat to support its ongoing social activities.

The CICA Spring Charity Bazaar was organized for the first time with the objective of encouraging generosity, civic responsibility, and volunteerism, while fostering people-to-people connections through the showcasing of the cultural diversity of CICA Member States and Observers. The event featured participation from more than 20 Embassies and International Organizations in Astana, and welcomed over 1,000 visitors.
