Environmental Fund for Lebanon

EFL manages funds allocated by the German Government to environmental interventions through calls for proposal.

EFL was initiated after the 2006 war to reduce the environmental risks and economic impacts in areas affected by the war and in other under served areas in Lebanon. The 1st call for proposal is now completed, €3 million were granted to 17 local interventions. Projects under the 2nd call for proposal, which also granted another €3 million for local interventions, are now being processed.
