Three Days of Innovation, Learning, and Engagement: IEEE Day at the Faculty of Engineering – Branch I.
The IEEE Student Branch at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Engineering – Branch I, organized a three-day event aimed at introducing students to IEEE, developing their technical skills, and encouraging student engagement through educational and recreational activities.
The first day featured a seminar on Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design, in collaboration with the Robotics Club, introducing students to the fundamentals of PCB design and its engineering applications.
The second day, IEEE Fun Day, brought together students for interactive games, competitions, and exciting challenges in collaboration with the Chess Club, Public Speaking Club, and Sports Club. The day was filled with enthusiasm, numerous prizes, and opportunities to discover IEEE and connect with fellow students.
The third and final day featured a seminar on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), delivered by Dr. Maher El Rafei, Director of the Faculty of Engineering – Branch I, highlighting their importance in industrial automation and modern engineering applications.
This initiative reflected IEEE's mission to advance technical knowledge, encourage innovation, and strengthen collaboration and engagement within the student community.
