Because when a woman exports, Chile moves forward. 💜🌎

This we recognize the women who carry our country’s name to the highest level — delivering solutions, products, services, and ideas to the world.

At ProChile we work year-round, and in every region, with more than 800 Women-Led Companies represented across all of the country’s export sectors.

In the last year:
✨ Their exports grew by nearly 14%
✨ They reached US$328 million
✨ They reached 92 international markets (9 more than the previous year)

From ASEAN, we also seek to strengthen the presence of Chilean women-led companies to bring the best of Chile to Southeast Asia.

We continue supporting Women-Led Companies throughout the year, because when they do well, Chile does well.

As ProChile’s trade office in Indonesia, we maintain ongoing contact with local importers and industry associations. We met with ASEIBSSINDO to review market developments and the entry of Chilean fruits, focusing on the recent grape and cherry season. We presented Chilean fruits approved for Indonesia — pear, apple, blueberry, kiwi, grape, cherry and lemon — highlighting the lemon’s recent market access and strong potential given Indonesia’s high citrus consumption. Indonesia is ASEAN’s largest economy and the world’s fourth most populous country (~280 million), with a young population increasingly favoring healthier choices.
Stay tuned for updates about what we’ll present at the second edition of the ASEAN Summit 2026.

The Embassy of Chile in Malaysia and ProChile, represented by Trade Representative Ana Belén Bueno, participated in CCFO29 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (February 9–13), advocating for an 18-month extension of data collection and the inclusion of piropheophytin “a” and 1,2-diglycerides as essential criteria to assess olive oil quality and freshness, with support for technical advice from the FAO.

The need for a geographically representative database and consideration of climate change impacts on oil composition were emphasized to protect producers from regions with extreme conditions.

The IOC invited Chile to evaluate membership, which would facilitate participation in standards development, technical cooperation, promotion, and access to international data and networks; Codex approved the extension and the creation of an FAO panel to analyze new data.

These outcomes strengthen Chile’s technical positioning and market credibility, providing momentum for promoting Chilean products and negotiating opportunities ahead of Chile-ASEAN Summit 2026.
