Racist HR manager Fired .!

The manager was put on blast for speaking down to a foreign-born job-seeker.

One HR Manager in the US was fired after his poor treatment of a job-seeker came to light.

Fifty-two-year-old Vietnam-born Minh had emailed logistics service provider Dash Delivery on January 22 for a job. His daughter Emily Huynh has been helping him with proofreading his job applications, but on this particular day, he sent the email without her help.

Minh, who immigrated to the US in 1995, has been unemployed for almost two years. He had worked as an overnight truck driver for 13 years before being laid off.

However, the reply from the hiring manager was where the story took a turn.

“Let me tell you now, if you no speak English, I will send you home,” wrote the manager Bruce Peterson in an email to Minh via Email's email account.

Emily was infuriated, so she decided to post a photo of the email on Twitter to warn other non-English speaking job-seekers.

Her post has since been retweeted more than 23,000 times, with many lambasting the company and the manager. Some even offered to help Minh find a job.

The next day, Dash Delivery sent Minh an email (See: Picture below) apologising for Peterson’s actions and that he had been fired.

Emily says that her father has been flooded with job offers ever since the story broke.
