On 29th July 2026, we came together at Navaladi Beach, 2nd Thoobi to make a positive impact on our environment.

Together with Lions Club of Batticaloa Singing Fish and OceanBiome, we joined hands to clean our coastline and protect our precious marine ecosystem.

Every bag of waste collected is a step towards cleaner beaches, healthier oceans, and a more sustainable future.

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, partners, and supporters who dedicated their time and effort to making this initiative a success. 🌿💙

🌊💙 As part of our World Ocean Day celebrations, SPM Foundation and OceanBiome organized a special Popup Collection initiative at BT/Mahajana College, Batticaloa on 03.06.2026, empowering students to take action for cleaner oceans and a healthier environment.
♻️ Through this initiative, students actively participated in responsible waste collection and learned the importance of reducing pollution that eventually finds its way into our rivers, lagoons, and oceans.
🌱 Every item collected is a step towards protecting marine ecosystems, promoting sustainable waste management, and inspiring the next generation of environmental champions.
✨ Together, we can turn awareness into action and create lasting change for our communities and our oceans.
