We are pleased to inform you that Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory of National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) is open for testing services starting from 27th May 2020 with an updated comprehensive health and safety measure, as per government declaration.

Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory of National Building Research Organisation was granted ISO 17025 Accreditation for the “Performing Mechanical Testing on soil samples as per the BS methods” in 2018 for Atterberg Limits test and Direct Shear Test.
Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory is proud to announce that it succeeded to extend its accreditation scope for Triaxial (UU) test and Consolidation test (Oedometer apparatus) making the first laboratory in Sri Lanka, granted accreditation for Triaxial (UU) test and Consolidation test.
