🇱🇰 Sri Lanka Needs Us – Let’s Stand Together in This Island-Wide Crisis
This cyclone has impacted the entire island in a way we have rarely seen before. In previous disasters, we could focus on one or two regions and mobilize support collectively and effectively. But this time, every province has been hit, and in some areas we cannot even access communities because roads are flooded or completely cut off.
Families are stranded. Homes are underwater. Many have no clean drinking water, no food, and no way to prepare a meal. The scale of this disaster is overwhelming.
Today, I was grateful to work alongside our teams and local partners to provide meals in Pubudugama, Peliyagoda, Ja-Ela, and surrounding communities. And we will keep going.

මේ මොහොතේ ආපදා තත්වය මුළු දිවයිනටම බලපා තිබීම අප සියලු දෙනා මුහුණ දෙන අභියෝගයයි.මීට පෙර ව්යසනවලදී, අපට රටේ කලාප එකක් හෝ දෙකක් කෙරෙහි අවධානය යොමු කර සාමූහිකව හා ඵලදායී ලෙස සහයෝගය ලබා ගත හැකියාව තිබූ නමුත් මෙවර සෑම පළාතක්ම පීඩාවට පත්ව ඇති අතර, සමහර ප්රදේශවල මාර්ග ජලයෙන් යටවී හෝ සම්පූර්ණයෙන්ම අවහිර වී ඇති බැවින් අපට ප්රජාවන්ට ප්රවේශ වීමට පවා නොහැකිය.
පවුල් අවතැන්ව,නිවාස ජලයෙන් යටවී ඇති පසුබිමක බොහෝ දෙනෙකුට පිරිසිදු පානීය ජලය ,වියලි ආහාර සහ ආහාර වේලක් පිළියෙළ කිරීමට ක්රමයක් හෝ නොමැත. එම නිසාම මෙම ව්යසනයේ පරිමාණය අතිමහත්ය.
අද, පුබුදුගම, පෑලියගොඩ, ජා-ඇල සහ අවට ප්රජාවන්හි ආහාර සැපයීම සඳහා අපගේ කණ්ඩායම් සහ අනෙකුත් සහන කණ්ඩායම් එක්ව වැඩ කරන ලදී.එසේ එකාවන්ව එක්ව ප්රදේශය වෙනුවෙන් වැඩ කිරීමට ලැබීම ගැන මම ස්තූතිවන්ත වන අතර අපි දිගටම මේ ක්රියාවලිය ගෙන යාමට කැපවෙමු.

ජාතික අර්බුදය හමුවේ අපි දේශපාලන පක්ෂයක් ලෙස නොව, අනුකම්පාව සහ වගකීම සඳහා කැපවී සිටින පුරවැසියන් ලෙස අප අපගේ උපරිමය ඔබ වෙනුවෙන් ඉටු කිරිමට සූදානම්.

தேசிய இளைஞர் சேவை சபை தனது ஆரம்பத்திலிருந்தே ஒரு அரசியல் நிறுவனமாகவே இருந்து வருகிறது. அதன் நிர்வாகம் எப்போதும் ஆட்சி செய்கின்ற அரசாங்கத்தின் முடிவுகளின் அடிப்படையிலேயே செயற்படுகிறது. ஒவ்வொரு அரசாங்கமும் இதனை தங்களுடைய அரசியல் தேவைகளுக்கு ஏற்ப பயன்படுத்தியுள்ளது. இருப்பினும், இந்த நிறுவனத்தின் கீழ் இயங்கும் இளைஞர் සංගமங்களின் සංගமம் இதுவரை சுதந்திரமாகவும், ஒழுங்காகவும் செயற்பட்டு வந்துள்ளது. ஆனால் இப்போது அது கூட அரசியலுக்குள் இழுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இன்னும், இலங்கை இளைஞர்களில் 10% கூட இந்த அமைப்பினால் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தப்படவில்லை. உண்மையான சீர்திருத்தங்கள் தேவை. இதற்கு கவனம் செலுத்துவது மிகவும் முக்கியமானது. தேசிய இளைஞர் சேவை சபை அனைத்து இளைஞர்களுக்கும் திறந்ததாக இருக்க வேண்டும்.

The National Youth Services Council has been a political institution since its inception. Its administration is carried out based on the decisions made by the government in power. Every successive government has used it according to its own political interests. However, the Youth Societies' Federation that functions under this institution has so far operated freely and independently. Now, even that has become politicized.
Nevertheless, less than 10% of Sri Lankan youth are currently represented within this mechanism. Genuine reforms are necessary. It is essential to focus attention on this matter. The National Youth Services Council must be open to all youth.

ජාතික තරුණසේවා සභාව ආරම්භයේ සිටම දේශපාලනික ආයතනයකි. එහි පරිපාලනය සිදු වන්නේ පත් වන රජය ගන්නා වූ තීරණ මතය. එය පත් වන සෑම ආණ්ඩුවක්ම තම දේශපාලනික උවමනා මත භාවිතා කරන ලදි. නමුත් එම ආයතන යටතේ පවතින යෞවන සමාජ සම්මේලනය නිදහස් සහ ස්වාධීනව මෙතෙක් පැවතුණි. නමුත් එයද දැන් දේශපාලනික වී ඇත. කෙසේ වෙතත් ලාංකීය තාරුණ්ය 10% ක් වත් තවම මෙම යාන්ත්රණය නියෝජන නොකරයි. සැබැ සංශෝදන සිදු කිරීමට අවශ්ය වේ. මේ සඳහා අවධානය යොමු කිරීම ඉතා වැදගත් වේ. ජාතික තරුණ සේවා සභාව සමස්ථ තාරුණ්ය සඳහා විවෘත විය යුතුය.

அமெரிக்கா இலங்கைக்கு விதிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இறக்குமதி வரியை 20% ஆக குறைத்துள்ளது.
மேலும் பல நாடுகளுக்கான இறக்குமதி வரிகளையும் குறைக்கும் முடிவை எடுத்துள்ளது.
இதற்காக தற்போதைய அரசாங்கம் எடுத்துள்ள முன்னேறிய நடவடிக்கைகள் பாராட்டத்தக்கவையாகும்.

It has also decided to reduce tariffs for several other countries.
