Insha Allah, we will be travelling to Geli oya on 06th December to hand over these items.

2️⃣ Today, we are also collecting packed foods, basic hygiene products, and other essential household items.

3️⃣ We also have some balance funds, and we are planning the second project next week, which will again support flood-affected families 🌧️🤝.

After days of posters, speeches, and endless school spirit, all student election campaigns have officially wrapped up at 11 AM today.

Now the stage is set for the big day, the elections on 27th of November!
Hats off to every candidate for showing creativity, leadership, and teamwork.
No more campaigning, just stay calm, be positive, and get ready to cast your votes! ❤️

Meelad Cubs at 60th Colombo Camporee.

Last Saturday, our school’s Cub Scouts proudly participated in the 60th Camporee held at Viharamahadevi Park.

It was an incredible day filled with fun, friendship, and learning.. Our young scouts took part in exciting activities, discovered new skills, and created unforgettable memories together.

A big thank you to everyone who made this experience possible, truly a proud moment for our Cub Scouts family!

Grade 5 Exhibition 2025 🌟

Our Grade 05 students successfully held their annual exhibition yesterday!. The event was graced by our Principal, teachers, SDC and fellow students, who visited and appreciated the creative displays and wonderful projects prepared by the students.
It was a wonderful learning experience that encouraged teamwork, innovation, and confidence.
Congratulations to all our young achievers! 🌟

Global Handwashing Day Awareness by 81st Meelad Cub Scouts.

Cub Scouts of Our school took the lead in spreading awareness on Global Handwashing Day at their school, today.
They conducted an interactive awareness session and fun activity in classrooms, teaching fellow students the importance of proper handwashing and demonstrating the correct steps to keep our hands clean and germs away.

They also discussed the topic with teachers and the principal, shared ideas on maintaining good hygiene, and even continued their efforts during the school interval, checking and guiding others on proper handwashing using handwash and clean water.

✨The creative and colorful posters made by our Cub Scouts added even more beauty and excitement to the event..

We are so proud of their initiative, teamwork, and commitment to making our school a cleaner, healthier place for everyone, Alhamdulillah.

Sports Committee Meeting at Our School.

Last week, a Sports Committee Meeting was held at our school under the leadership of our Principal. The SDC Secretary, SDC members, some parents, and school sports staff actively participated in the discussion.

The meeting focused on future plans and developments for school sports, aiming to encourage students’ participation, improve sports facilities, and strengthen upcoming sports programs.

Student Achievements at Innovation Group Competitions. 🌟

Our students proudly participated in the competitions and events organized by the Innovation Group on 11th October at Bright Grand Hall, Colombo 10.

Achievements:
🥇 1st Place – Upcycle Waste Competition
🥈 2nd Place – Junior Word Building Competition
🥉 3rd Place – Senior Quiz Competition

All other participants received certificates and gifts for their wonderful efforts and participation.

Meelad Student Parliament

Students submitted their nominations today before 12 noon for the upcoming Student Parliament Election, which will be held in the second week of November, In sha Allah. ✨
Students were thrilled to receive their election numbers and symbols, marking the start of a spirited and friendly campaign season!

Principal addressed the students, speaking about the importance of democracy and how every student has a role to play in it.

We look forward to seeing our young leaders participate actively in this democratic process.
