Innovatex 2026, the flagship ICT initiative of the Information Technology Society of Visakha Vidyalaya, brought together innovation, creativity and technology in a dynamic showcase of student-led IoT and smart technology projects.

The exhibition featured competitive student creations spanning robotics, smart technologies, hardware innovation and software development, demonstrating the growing role of digital technology in solving real-world challenges.

Continuing Visakha Vidyalaya’s longstanding legacy of major technology initiatives, Innovatex 2026 provided a platform for the next generation of innovators to explore, create and showcase their vision for the future.

A proud moment for Visakha Vidyalaya as our talented young squash players delivered outstanding performances at the 37th Junior National Squash Championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Squash Federation and held at the Air Force Squash Complex, Ratmalana.

Heartiest congratulations to the Visakha Vidyalaya Under-15 Water Polo Team on emerging Champions of the Gunawardana Challenge Trophy at the 21st Annual LC–VV Water Polo Encounter 2026! 💙💛

In a thrilling and commanding performance, our young Visakhians secured an impressive 17–9 victory, proudly bringing the Gunawardana Challenge shield home to Visakha!

In the Under-19 encounter, our girls delivered a spirited display of skill, determination and sportsmanship in an exciting contest that kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the final quarter. Ladies’ College secured a 16–12 victory to claim the M.N. Edussuriya Shield.

We are immensely proud of our U19 team for their courage, fighting spirit and graceful sportsmanship throughout the encounter.

Congratulations to Ladies’ College on their U19 victory, and well done to both teams for an outstanding and memorable water polo encounter!
