🚉 Dream Destination ජාතික වැඩසටහන යටතේ නවීකරණය කළ බම්බලපිටිය දුම්රිය ස්ථානය මගී ජනතාවගේ පරිහරණයට එක් කෙරේ...!
Clean Sri Lanka ජාතික වැඩසටහනට සමගාමීව දිවයින පුරා දුම්රිය ස්ථාන 100ක පහසුකම් වැඩිදියුණු කර නවීකරණය කිරීමේ ‘සිහින ගමනාන්තය’ (Dream Destination) ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ නවීකරණය කරන ලද බම්බලපිටිය දුම්රිය ස්ථානය මගී ජනතාවගේ පරිහරණය සඳහා යළි විවෘත කිරීම අද (2026.09.10) බම්බලපිටිය දුම්රිය ස්ථානයේදී සිදු කෙරිණි.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා ප්‍රජාතාන්ත්‍රික සමාජවාදී ජනරජයේ ගරු අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරිය මැතිණියගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් සහ නාගරික සංවර්ධන නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය එරංග ගුණසේකර මහතා ඇතුළු සම්භාවනීය ආරාධිතයින් රැසකගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් මෙම අවස්ථාව පැවැත්විණි.
Dream Destination වැඩසටහන යථාර්ථයක් බවට පත් කරමින් බම්බලපිටිය දුම්රිය ස්ථානයේ මගී පහසුකම් රැසක් වැඩිදියුණු කර ඇති අතර, ඒ යටතේ,
🔹 ප්‍රධාන දුම්රිය ස්ථාන ගොඩනැගිල්ල නවීකරණය කිරීම
🔹 වේදිකා අංක 01 සහ 02 නවීකරණය කිරීම
🔹 සනීපාරක්ෂක පහසුකම් වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම
🔹 විදුලි හා ජල පහසුකම් විධිමත් කිරීම
🔹 ආරක්ෂිත කැමරා (CCTV) පද්ධති ස්ථාපනය කිරීම
🔹 මහාමාර්ගය හා දුම්රිය මාර්ගය අතර නව ගුවන් පාලමක් ඉදිකිරීම
🔹 ආපනශාලාව ඇතුළු දුම්රිය ස්ථාන පරිශ්‍රයේ යටිතල පහසුකම් නවීකරණය කිරීම
ආදී කටයුතු සිදුකර ඇත.
මේ සඳහා රුපියල් මිලියන 60ක පමණ මූල්‍ය ප්‍රතිපාදන වැය කර ඇති අතර, එම මූල්‍ය දායකත්වය මෙරට Dawoodi Bohra ප්‍රජාව විසින් ලබා දී ඇත.
2026 මාර්තු 19 වන දින නවීකරණ කටයුතු ආරම්භ කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව, මාස 05කට ආසන්න කාලයක් තුළ ව්‍යාපෘතිය සාර්ථකව නිම කිරීමට හැකිවීම ද විශේෂත්වයකි.
‘සිහින ගමනාන්තය’ (Dream Destination) ව්‍යාපෘතිය යටතේ මේ වනවිට තල්පේ, නාරාහේන්පිට, මරදාන සහ පොළොන්නරුව දුම්රිය ස්ථාන ද පෞද්ගලික අංශයේ මූල්‍ය දායකත්වයෙන් නවීන පහසුකම් සහිතව සංවර්ධනය කර ජනතා පරිහරණයට පවරා දී ඇත.

🚉 **Dream Destination தேசிய வேலைத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நவீனமயமாக்கப்பட்ட பம்பலப்பிட்டிய ரயில் நிலையம் பயணிகளின் பயன்பாட்டிற்காக திறந்து வைக்கப்பட்டது...!**
Clean Sri Lanka தேசிய வேலைத்திட்டத்துடன் இணைந்து, நாடளாவிய ரீதியில் 100 ரயில் நிலையங்களின் வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்தி நவீனமயமாக்கும் **‘கனவு இலக்கு’ (Dream Destination)** திட்டத்தின் கீழ் நவீனமயமாக்கப்பட்ட பம்பலப்பிட்டிய ரயில் நிலையம், பயணிகளின் பயன்பாட்டிற்காக மீண்டும் திறந்து வைக்கும் நிகழ்வு இன்று **(2026.09.10)** பம்பலப்பிட்டிய ரயில் நிலையத்தில் நடைபெற்றது.
இந்நிகழ்வு இலங்கை ஜனநாயக சோசலிசக் குடியரசின் கௌரவ பிரதமர் **கலாநிதி ஹரிணி அமரசூரிய** அவர்களின் தலைமையில், நகர அபிவிருத்தி பிரதி அமைச்சர் **எரங்க குணசேகர** உள்ளிட்ட பல சிறப்பு விருந்தினர்களின் பங்கேற்புடன் நடைபெற்றது.
**Dream Destination** திட்டத்தை நனவாக்கும் வகையில், பம்பலப்பிட்டிய ரயில் நிலையத்தில் பயணிகளுக்கான பல்வேறு வசதிகள் மேம்படுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளன. அவற்றின் கீழ்,
🔹 பிரதான ரயில் நிலையக் கட்டிடத்தை நவீனமயமாக்குதல்
🔹 01 மற்றும் 02ஆம் நடைமேடைகளை நவீனமயமாக்குதல்
🔹 சுகாதார வசதிகளை மேம்படுத்துதல்
🔹 மின்சாரம் மற்றும் நீர் வசதிகளை முறையாக ஏற்படுத்துதல்
🔹 பாதுகாப்பு கமெரா (CCTV) அமைப்புகளை நிறுவுதல்
🔹 பிரதான வீதிக்கும் ரயில் பாதைக்கும் இடையில் புதிய மேம்பாலம் ஒன்றை அமைத்தல்
🔹 உணவகம் உள்ளிட்ட ரயில் நிலைய வளாகத்தின் உட்கட்டமைப்பு வசதிகளை நவீனமயமாக்குதல்
உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ளன.
இதற்காக சுமார் **60 மில்லியன் ரூபாய்** நிதி ஒதுக்கீடு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதுடன், இந்த நிதிப் பங்களிப்பை இலங்கையின் **Dawoodi Bohra சமூகத்தினர்** வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.
**2026 மார்ச் 19** அன்று நவீனமயமாக்கல் பணிகள் ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டதன் பின்னர், சுமார் **05 மாதங்களுக்கு உட்பட்ட காலப்பகுதியில்** இத்திட்டத்தை வெற்றிகரமாக நிறைவு செய்திருப்பதும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
**‘கனவு இலக்கு’ (Dream Destination)** திட்டத்தின் கீழ், இதுவரை **தல்பே, நாரஹேன்பிட்ட, மருதானை மற்றும் பொலன்னறுவை** ரயில் நிலையங்களும் தனியார் துறையின் நிதிப் பங்களிப்புடன் நவீன வசதிகளுடன் அபிவிருத்தி செய்யப்பட்டு பொதுமக்களின் பயன்பாட்டிற்காக கையளிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

🚉 Bambalapitiya Railway Station, modernized under the Dream Destination National Programme, reopens for passenger use...!
As part of the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme, the ‘Dream Destination’ project aims to improve and modernize facilities at 100 railway stations across the island. Under this initiative, the newly modernized Bambalapitiya Railway Station was officially reopened for passenger use today (10.09.2026) at the Bambalapitiya Railway Station.
The occasion was held under the patronage of the Hon. Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, Prime Minister of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, with the participation of Deputy Minister of Urban Development Eranga Gunasekara and many distinguished invitees.
As part of making the Dream Destination programme a reality, numerous passenger facilities at Bambalapitiya Railway Station have been improved, including:
🔹 Modernization of the main railway station building
🔹 Renovation of Platforms No. 01 and 02
🔹 Improvement of sanitation facilities
🔹 Upgrading and streamlining electricity and water facilities
🔹 Installation of CCTV security systems
🔹 Construction of a new pedestrian overpass between the main road and railway tracks
🔹 Modernization of infrastructure within the railway station premises, including the restaurant
Approximately Rs. 60 million has been invested in this modernization project, with the financial contribution provided by the Dawoodi Bohra community in Sri Lanka.
Another notable achievement is that the project was successfully completed within nearly five months, following the commencement of modernization work on 19 March 2026.
Under the ‘Dream Destination’ project, the Talpe, Narahenpita, Maradana and Polonnaruwa Railway Stations have also been developed with modern facilities through financial contributions from the private sector and handed over for public use.
The event was attended by Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka Dr. Rizvi Salih, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Muneer Moulaffer, Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake, Mayor of Colombo Municipal Council Vraie Cally Balthazaar, Deputy Mayor Hemantha Weerakoon, Secretary to the Prime Minister Pradeep Saputhanthri, officials including Additional Secretary of the Clean Sri Lanka National Programme Engineer S.P.C. Sugishwara, officials from the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, including Chief Financial Officer P.K. Malani, General Manager of Railways Ravindra Pathmapriya and officials of the Sri Lanka Railways Department, representatives of Dawoodi Bohras Sri Lanka, including Janab Aamil Saheb Ibrahim Bhai Saheb, Head of the Colombo Dawoodi Bohras Group, Huseimah Jefajee, representative of the Dawoodi Bohras organization, representatives of NIO Engineering, and many other distinguished guests.
