The Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL) expresses unwavering support for all Liberian mothers who have chosen to wear black in protest, representing the pain and suffering caused by the growing issue of drug abuse across our country. We stand in solidarity with all families whose children are on the streets as a result of substance abuse and societal neglect.

EFFL remains committed to protecting Liberia's youth and future generations from the devastating effects of drug addiction and the harmful systems that perpetuate it. We view this crisis not only as a social emergency but as a direct threat to national development and stability.

We therefore reaffirm our support for the President of the Republic of Liberia, civil society organizations, and international partners who are working diligently to combat drug abuse and safeguard the future of our country.

Together, we must act urgently, decisively, and compassionately to end this national tragedy.
