We are pleased to announce to you that we have signed a new partnership agreement with Emerging Leaders Boot Camp as related to our overall objective to ensure youth participation in local and national governance and in decision-making processes that directly affect their lives, as well as to promote youth, peace and security (UN Resolution 2250) and the SDGs.

We are joining the Emerging Leaders Boot Camp to host a 6-day (December 26-31, 2021) Boot Camp in Gbarnga, B**g County for young people.

The Emerging Leaders Boot Camp is a leadership development program for disruptors, innovators influencers and young people who are passionate about changing the status quo.

The core pillar of the Emerging Leaders Boot Camp aims to nurture, mentor and support the development of young people to make a positive difference in their communities, country and the world at large. The program caters to the specific needs of rising leaders in their social, personal and professional lives.

Congratulations to everyone that volunteered today to make the Liberia Marathon 10k Run successful. We saw the passion for voluntarism in you this morning at 4:00am when all of you were present at your assigned stations and providing support to the many runners.

You stayed with us to the end of the race and as far as staying with us until the last runner left the stadium to return home.

We are proud that we recruited you to support the activities and you proved your best to us, the organizers, sponsors and the many runners.

The good news is, we officially launched our Help University Students Achieve project today with our partners and funders, Project Change International, Inc. and the Prince L. Jarbo Foundation.

The three month project beneficiaries will include 20 students including, and students from the University of Liberia - UL Stella Maris Polytechnic University Smythe Institute of Management And Technology Students Union African Methodist Episcopal University African Methodist Episcopal Zion University and the United Methodist University

What does Help University Students Achieve consists of?

1. An ICTs training designed to equip university students with the skills necessary to be competitive on the job market in Liberia and the world at large
•Navigating around windows operating system and working with Microsoft. Office Tools • Mastering Internet and working with email system
•Mastering Social Media
•Data Entry
•Using Mobile Phone for Transparency and Accountability

2. Job readiness Training
•Using Voluntarism and Internship experience for job experience
• Leadership workshop
•Networking and Job Search
•CV/Resume Writing
•Interview Techniques

3. Entrepreneurship

We have finally reached the launch date of our project titled: Help University Students Achieve that is funded by Project Change International, Inc. and the Prince L. Jarbo Foundation.

Venue: Volunteers Hub Liberia's office, Opposite Unique Trading, LLC - Buzzy Quarters, UN Drive - Monrovia, Liberia

Beneficiaries are 20 student including, and students from the University of Liberia - UL Stella Maris Polytechnic Smythe Institute Of Management and Technology (SIMT), African Methodist Episcopal University African Methodist Episcopal Zion University and the United Methodist University

The project objective is to roll out trainings and mentorship programs that will help young university students become independent, contribute to their communities and be prepared to compete in the job market after graduation.
