Conscious Youths Center Council to Reclaim District #3

Conscious Youths Center Council to Reclaim District #3

We believe that District #3 deserves leadership.

COYOCE–D3 was formed out of a growing concern among conscious youths and community stakeholders regarding the need for greater accountability, transparency, and effective development in our district.

As young people and residents of District #3, Montserrado County, we have watched the leadership of Representative Sumo Mulbah with growing concern.

In his first year, district development funds were used to construct a roundabout park, presented as development. In the second year, additional resources were spent on maintaining the same project, while many pressing needs in our communities remained unaddressed. For years, we have remained silent.

We have also observed actions that appear inconsistent with the principles of integrity and respect for the rule of law that were publicly promoted. Recent political decisions, including positions taken during the J. Fonati Koffa situation, have raised serious questions among constituents.

There are further concerns about the use of resources for limited vocational initiatives and public donations that seem more symbolic than impactful. Meanwhile, critical sectors in District #3 continue to struggle.

Silence should not be mistaken for satisfaction. As citizens, we are paying attention.

We want to make it clear: leadership must be accountable, transparent, and focused on real development that benefits the people—not short-term visibility projects.

We will continue to engage, organize, and exercise our democratic rights to ensure that our voices are heard and that our district receives the leadership it deserves.

2029 is approaching, and the people will make their judgment.
