Confirmed WAEC/WASSCE FEES via Radio ELBC 99.9, where the Minister of Education and a few delegates were hosted this morning, the Ministry of Education clarifies the WAEC/WASSCE fees for students in grades 3, 6, 9, and 12 across public and private schools in Liberia 🇱🇷.

𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙁𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚:
✅ 3rd Graders: 1,150 LD (1,000 LD to WAEC Office, 150 LD for processing)
✅ 6th Graders: 2,150 LD (2,000 LD to WAEC Office, 150 LD for processing)
✅ 9th Graders:
𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨: 5,150 LD

𝙋𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙞𝙘 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨:
FREE, except 150 LD for processing
✅ 12th Graders: FREE, except 150 LD for processing (WASSCE is absolutely free)

𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨
The above fees apply to all private and public schools across Liberia, except for 9th grade fees, which differ for public and private institutions.

All school principals or proprietors are strictly warned against overcharging parents or students.

Schools that have already collected fees beyond the approved amounts must refund the excess to parents/students.

If any school or principal refuses to issue a refund, affected parents or students should report by calling 0777212197, providing the school’s name, location, and principal’s name.

The Ministry of Education remains committed to ensuring fairness and transparency in the payment of WAEC/WASSCE fees.
