Are you a high-achieving, low-income (HALI) student who:

1. Applied to universities abroad but was denied, waitlisted, or had to take a gap year—and still doesn’t have a viable admissions offer?

2. Is still looking for a high-quality, English-medium program anywhere in the world?

3. Has strong academic credentials (for example, 1450+ SAT and/or top percentile nationally)?

4. Is high-impact, civic-minded, coachable, fast-learning, and open-minded?

5. Is open to exploring and attending universities in North America?

If so, this opportunity is for you.

Second Chance is a global initiative that supports high-achieving, low-income (HALI) students who did not receive any viable admission or financial aid offers from their previous applications to universities outside their home country. The program gives students a second chance to secure a place—with scholarship support—at a high-quality, English-medium university around the world.
