Continuation of a new journey by LIPAM in decentralising its services. facilitator in Project Management workshop delved deep into issues that project managers must consider before implementing projects in Leribe communities.

From the 2nd to the 6th Feb LIPAM through the assistance of GIMPA engaged its stakeholder to assess capacity of LIPAM to deliver programmes that evolving meet the needs of Lesotho Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration - GIMPA Ministry of the Public Service Ministry of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation Ministry of Home Affairs - Lesotho Ministry of Public works and Transport Lesotho

Provision of quality and affordable housing is a challenge in the country, hence the department of Housing in the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftainship, Home Affairs and Police found it prudent to get a refresher on Project Management. LIPAM became a provider of choice for this exercise.

The past weeks were for capacity building of LIPAM staff and other emplotees from other ministries.
We learnt about the importance of respecting other gender in the workplace.

Today the 20th January, the Lesotho Institute of Public Administration & Management (LIPAM) consultants; officers from both Training and Development; and Human Resources Departments from the Ministry of the Public; and Human Resource Officers from sister ministries attending training of trainers on Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harrassment (PSEAH) in the Workplace. This isan intervention through a generous support from the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Ministry of the Public Service Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration - GIMPA The Ministry of Health Ministry of Gender and Youth, Sports and Recreation Ministry of Education and Training - Lesotho Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Relations Lesotho

Lesotho Institute of Public Administration and Management facilitators emphasised the importance of planning the use of pension package during FINACUAL LITERACY training to public officers who are about to retire on the 4th to the 5th Dec.
