Quartier Stuff La Quartier Stuff est l’opportunité pour tous de repenser leur quartier, d’en définir les besoins et d’agir directement sur leur qualité de vie.

After gathering precious feedbacks and thoughts during the summer the Grunewald Action Partnership (or simply GAP Kirchberg) has been happily implemented into a new project: The Quartier Stuff. We are happy that the Fonds Kirchberg is willing to answer the district’s need to enjoy the area which have been confirmed during the participative process that GAP started this summer. They have dreams and ambitions, they care and they innovate. Women of Grunewald are not simple inhabitants, they are a motor of change towards a more liveable neighbourhood.

Last Sunday we organised different activities for the whole family in the community garden. Children and adults used the vegetable gardens of the area as a starting point for playing and learning with vegetables. The whether was very good and about 30 families were coming over during the entire afternoon.
Children were very active with the 3 workshops: they have learned skills for gardening and the pedagogic activities helped them to imagine how to prepare their garden plot for the next year. Furthermore we had significant feedbacks about how to develop the community gardens in the future together with the parents.

We spotted the first gardeners who started setting up the new plots... It's never too late for planting late-summer salad and leeks seedlings!
