Join us for Pride 2026 in Luxembourg city! 🌈

Last week, we had the chance to have a chat with Dali Zhu, fellow DP member and Mayor of Contern. He shared with us the realities of entering and participating in Luxembourgish politics with an international background, and how his Chinese roots translated into his actions: you don’t complain unless you do something about it.

He highlighted how Luxembourg is a unique country, with an openness that isn’t often seen elsewhere - all that matters is that you show up and contribute.

And how does one show up? From Dali Zhu’s point of view, the best way is through social activities. Join events and get to know the people already participating in these spaces. This is exactly why we, at DP International, organize this kind of events: to allow you, the international community, to get to know the people who shape the country we live in.

is originally from Romania, has been living in Luxembourg for the past 6 years, and just recently got naturalized. What Camelia represents here is every single one of us that call this country home. We hope that, just like we at DP International, you will be inspired by seeing her occupy spaces that the international community seldom participates in. YES, Luxembourg is inclusive and YES, we are bringing that inclusivity to politics. BE part of it with us.

Camelia is our secretary general for DP International, representing the section at yesterday’s international evening organized by and .

A big thank you to and for the sublime organization.

At DP International, we advocate for inclusive politics that reflect the diversity of Luxembourg and its international community. When the people who shape policy believe in that mission, it means something. That’s why every opportunity to get involved matters.

Today we had the chance to visit the European Parliament in Strasbourg and discuss with Charles Goerens on current geopolitical realities and how we can contribute to a better future.

Thank you to Charles Goerens and team for the kind invite and warm reception.
