اليوم في شاطئ تالايوسف وجد طائرًا من طيور البفن ميتًا وقد لفظه البحر إلى الشاطئ.

طيور البفن تعيش عادة في شمال المحيط الأطلسي، وتقضي معظم حياتها في البحر ولا تعود إلى اليابسة إلا في موسم التكاثر. لذلك فإن رؤيتها في البحر الأبيض المتوسط أمر غير معتاد.

قد تدفع العواصف والرياح القوية بعض الطيور بعيدًا عن مساراتها الطبيعية، كما يمكن أن يكون الإرهاق، نقص الغذاء، تغير درجات حرارة المياه أو التلوث من بين الأسباب المحتملة. البحر يربط بين كل شيء، وما يحدث في مكان بعيد قد ينتهي على شواطئنا.

إذا صادفتم حالات مشابهة، يُفضل عدم لمس الطائر وإبلاغ الجهات المختصة.

Today at Talayoussef Beach, A puffin was found washed ashore, lifeless.

Puffins usually live in the North Atlantic, spending most of their lives at sea and only returning to land during the breeding season. That’s why seeing one in the Mediterranean is unusual.

Strong storms and winds can sometimes push birds far from their natural routes. Exhaustion, lack of food, changes in water temperature, or pollution could also be possible causes. The sea connects everything, and what happens far away can end up on our shores.

If you encounter similar cases, it’s best not to touch the bird and to inform the relevant authorities.

.traveladventures / Al Hoceima Nationalpark is kind of a hidden gem in Morocco! We met nobody while hiking except for a few local fishers down at the beach. The hike was stunning, following a dried up river bed, climbing down dried waterfalls and marvelling at the impact the water had on the shape of the stones. The closer we got to the ocean the more it looked like skulls or a battle field of ancient monsters. After 3 hours we reached the beach and took a very needed lunch break, way to soon we had to head back to make it to the car before sunset. 🤍

Al Hoceima National Park boasts some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the Mediterranean, including towering cliffs that rise nearly 600 meters above sea level. These majestic heights, among the highest in the region, offer stunning panoramic views of the turquoise waters below, making it a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and photographers.
