8 Days In -

We can't belive that in Morocco, in north of Africa, we can do ski, yes you can do it in a wonderful situation. You can try it and you will want to do it again. Enjoy the winter months in the High Atlas. Morocco's mountains are a paradise for snow climbers and ski fans.
During this trip we are likely to encounter a variety of snow conditions from very soft to hard and icy. Generally at this time of the year the snow is in excellent condition for skiing.
Typically we will ski for 6 - 8 hours each day. It will be necessary at some points to carry skis and to ascend using crampons.
The downhill slopes will be maximum 35 degrees. This holiday is suitable for experienced off-piste skiers. Participants should have very good control of turns and stops, particularly on hard slopes. In addition the relatively high altitudes encountered will mean that a good level of physical fitness is also required.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival to Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech, night at hotel. free sightseeing around the old city of Marrakech

Day 2 - Marrakech - Imlil - Toubkal refuge base camp

Drive to Imlil, ski trip up to refuge at 3200 m, which takes 5 hours and is 1400 meter climb. For this stage the mules will carry our equipment to the refuge. Night in the refuge

Day 3 - climb Mount Ouanoukrim peak

We go to Ouanoukrim peak 4088m and ski down to the refuge. 5 hours. Clocheton corridor at 3963 m and ski back to refuge.

Day 4 - Climb Mount Clocheton

We climb mount Clocheton corridor at 3963 m and ski back to refuge. 5 hours.

Day 5 - Mount Toubkal Climb

Toubkal, 4167 m and ski down the Imhouzer valley, 1700 m downhill north facing, magnificent! The night is spent in Imlil (2350 m).

Day 6 - Morning drive To Tachdirte and climb Tizi Likemt

Likemnt Pass 3555m-Tachdirte. Drive from Imlil in the morning and climb Tizi Likemt (3555 m) with the night

Day 7 - Climb Bouyguenoun peak - return to Imlil - Marrakech

Ski Morning & Return to Imlil. Iguenouan (3882 m) descending to Imlil (1740). return to Marrakech in the evening, a night at hotel for return the next day.

Day 8 - fly back home:

Return to Marrakesh.

The day will start by picking you up from your accommodation and take the way through the high atlas mountain and have many stops for picture, activities and enjoy seeing the panoramic views and Berber villages. The first stop will be in a small village to visit a traditional Berber house and have the second breakfast with a cup of minty tea made by the old Berber Queen, then head to Imlil in our way we will stop for camel trek, after that we will drive directly to mules ride to visit waterfall then have lunch in Berber house next to the highest mountain in north Africa and the second one in Africa called Toubkal 4167m, then will ride our miles back to Imlil where we will meet up with our driver and drive toward Lala Takrkoust for quad bike then drive back to your accommodation in the red city of Marrakech. Voyage escalade au Maroc Toubkal 10 Jours
