It was a great honor and pleasure to attend the ceremony held in tribute to Dr. Ismahane Elouafi, the distinguished Moroccan scientist in plant sciences, following a kind invitation from Mr. Saïd Al Aroui, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Chile and President of the Sbiaat Commune in Youssoufia.
The ceremony was chaired by His Excellency the Governor of Youssoufia Province, Dr. Abdelmoumen Taleb, and was attended by senior officials, elected representatives, and members of civil society from the region.
This tribute held a special and emotional significance, as it took place in Dr. Elouafi’s hometown of Youssoufia. It was deeply moving to witness the pride and admiration expressed by the local community for one of their own, who has raised Morocco’s profile on the global scientific stage.
Dr. Elouafi was named by TIME Magazine among the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and she currently serves as Executive Managing Director of the CGIAR (Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research), leading global efforts in agricultural research, food security, and sustainable development.
We extend our sincere congratulations and appreciation to Dr. Elouafi for her outstanding achievements and her inspiring leadership, which serves as a role model for future generations in Morocco, Africa, and beyond.

The Kenya Honorary Consulate General Accredited to Morocco is deeply saddened to here of General Francis Ogola's passing. His dedication, courage, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. May the memories of his life bring us comfort and strength. Please know that his service and ultimate sacrifice will always be remembered and honored.

In this somber moment, our deepest condolences also go out to the grieving families of his fellow officers including; Brigadier Swale Saidi, Colonel Duncan Keittany, Lieutenant Colonel David Sawe, Major George Benson Magondu, Captain Sora Mohamed, Captain Hillary Litali, Senior Sergeant John Kinyua Mureithi, Sergeant Cliphonce Omondi, and Sergeant Rose Nyawira who together with Gen. Ogolla were offering theirs selfless service to the nation.

May the bereaved find solace in knowing that he was a true hero who made ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and safety and their memories will never be forgotten.

His unwavering commitment to duty remains unparalleled, leaving behind a legacy of distinguished service to the nation.

I was delighted to receive Miss Noura Ahmed, a Kenyan student who just recently graduated with a first class honors from Ecole Nationale d'Architecture from Rabat, Morocco 🇲🇦 Noura was accompanied by Miss Melvin Kerubo, a PhD student from the Faculty of Sciences in Rabat, Miss Farhiya Abdulahi and Mr David Ogega. Farhiya and David are our new students who recently arrived in Morocco and are currently pursuing their French language at the Centre de Langue under the Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation.. ,
