It has been 20 days since Denmark went to the polls 🇩🇰🗳️, and one key question still remains: Who will form the next government?

As no political bloc secured a majority, former Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has been tasked with leading the negotiations to form a new government.

Political parties are working together to reach an agreement, and negotiations will continue until a new government is in place ⏳

In the meantime, communication will continue to be limited until a new Danish government has been formed.

Did you know that Sunday was Fastelavn in Denmark? 🎭🥳💃

Across the country, children dressed up as superheroes, animals, and fairytale characters and took part in the tradition of “beating the cat out of the barrel.” Fastelavnsboller, the seasonal cream-filled buns, were also widely enjoyed.

Want to make a Danish fastelavnsbolle? Check out the recipe on the last slide🍰

Say hello to our current interns, Martin and Anna Mira, who have been with us since last week👋👋👋

📈 Hi! I’m Martin, and I’m the new trade intern. I’m currently studying International Sales and Marketing at Business Academy Copenhagen. I’ve just returned from an exchange semester in Malaysia, which was a great experience and really strengthened my ambition to work internationally and gaining experience in a multicultural environment. So, I’m thrilled to be joining the Trade Council at the embassy here in Rabat. I’m especially interested in export promotion, market analysis, and commercial diplomacy, and I’m excited to gain hands-on experience supporting Danish companies in Morocco and the MENA region. I’m also excited to experience Morocco’s culture, explore Rabat, and make the most of this unique opportunity 🇲🇦✨

💬 Hi! I’m Anna Mira, the new communication intern and I’ll be helping with our daily outreach, creating content for our social media, and supporting the embassy’s communication and public diplomacy strategy. With my background in journalism, I’m excited to explore new aspects of communication, especially within public diplomacy. I’m looking forward to learning even more about how communication shapes relationships, and to contribute to the cultural connection between Denmark and Morocco. Having just completed an exchange semester in Brussels, I’m excited to improve my French further and maybe even learn some Darija and I’m especially looking forward to experiencing everyday life in Morocco and enjoying all the delicious Moroccan food and tea (and sun, of course)🌞🌅
