What a fun and creative day we had together!

We started the day with wood painting, where everyone got to show their artistic side and create colorful, unique designs. 🖌️✨

After all the creativity, we enjoyed a delicious lunch together, sharing laughs and good conversations. 🍽️😊

To end the day, we went on an exciting activity discovering the medina of Sale — learning while having fun made the experience even more memorable! 📚🔍

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs, together with its partners, is hosting Crisis Management NOW presenting crisis management and peacebuilding on 5 May.

The event features panel discussions and speeches from experts. In the session Practitioners on stage, crisis management professionals share experiences from their work and career paths.

Where a jacket marked “PRESS” once offered a measure of protection, now it is often a target. In a world riven with conflict, the media is a crucial line of defence, and it needs our protection.

Independent media is the foundation of democracy. It helps us understand the world, make informed decisions and hold those in power to account.

World Press Freedom Day reminds us that media freedom cannot be taken for granted. That is why Finland, together with the United Kingdom, co-chairs the Media Freedom Coalition to defend press freedom and the safety of journalists worldwide.

حيث كان ارتداء سترة تحمل كلمة "PRESS" يوفر في السابق قدراً من الحماية، أصبح الآن في كثير من الأحيان هدفاً بحد ذاته. في عالم تمزقه الصراعات، تُعد وسائل الإعلام خط دفاع حاسماً، وهي بحاجة إلى حمايتنا.
