🔸 Individuals interested in participating may visit the U.S. Embassy parking lot in Andranoro Antehiroka during the specified times to view and bid on the vehicles for sale.
🔸Participants must bring a national identity card for registration purposes, complete the bid form provided on-site, and make a cash deposit of 500,000 Ar per vehicle they wish to bid on.

Meet Noah Yaviankasoa, a determined student from southern Madagascar who is now studying 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 at Seattle Central College!

Noah’s path to the United States is a powerful reminder that dreams can become reality. He never thought studying at a U.S. college was possible, until he took matters into his own hands. With strong English language skills and his family’s encouragement, Noah independently navigated the entire application and admission process, researching and completing everything himself.

Today, Noah is sharing his experience to help other aspiring students understand the application and visa process, proving that with determination and the right resources, anything is achievable.

Today, CDC epidemiologist Dr. Michael Kinzer presented the outcomes and recommendations from his four-week mission to Madagascar's Ministry of Health and technical and financial partners, showcasing continued U.S. support since the Monkeypox outbreak began.

Stronger health systems help prevent instability and reduce the risk that infectious diseases reach beyond borders to other regions. U.S. support focuses on strengthening disease prevention and improving health services, building Madagascar's capacity for self-sufficiency and reducing dependence on foreign assistance.

🇺🇸🇲🇬 U.S. Embassy Chargé d’Affaires Stephanie Arnold welcomed Ambassador Lantosoa Rakotomalala, Madagascar’s Ambassador to the United States, to the embassy this morning to discuss areas of bilateral cooperation and the enduring partnership between our two nations.

The meeting focused on opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation on trade, investment, and economic development. They discussed the key sectors in Madagascar that benefit from tariff-free access to the vast U.S. market under AGOA, including vanilla and textiles, which also benefit U.S. consumers. Chargé Arnold recognized Ambassador Rakotomalala’s continued leadership as a strong advocate for AGOA in Washington. Additional topics of discussion included the importance of transparent business practices and a welcoming investment climate to foster long-term mutual prosperity and the United States’ continuing generous assistance to Madagascar in health.

Together, the United States and Madagascar continue to build on over 160 years of friendship to create a healthier, safer, and more prosperous future for both our countries.
