Tomorrow marks the 60th birthday of Canada’s distinctive “maple leaf” flag! 🇨🇦

The flag was showcased to the world two years later at Expo ’67 (Canada’s 100th birthday); was carried to the summit of Mount Everest in 1982; and in 1984, was even launched into space alongside Canada’s first astronaut aboard NASA’s space shuttle Challenger.

Sixty years old tomorrow, but still fresh as a daisy!🎉

📯One of the most performed contemporary operas, WEDDING by Serbian composer Ana Sokolović who is a 🇨🇦Canadian composer of Serbian origin and performed by the Slovenian Chamber Music Theater from Tsankarevi Dom, Ljubljana, was part of the May Opera Evenings at the Nacionalna opera i balet - National Opera & Ballet in Skopje.

🎼As part of our continuous support for Canadian artists and on behalf of the Embassy of Canada in Belgrade 🇷🇸 and the Consulate of Canada in Skopje 🇲🇰, Ms. Ilina Sekovska met with the performers and congratulated them for a successful evening.👏
