America Through My Lens Photo Exhibition – Celebrating Freedom and Partnership
As part of the America 250 celebration and in recognition of the enduring values of freedom, opportunity, and cultural exchange, American Corner Tetovo organized a two-day, during Thursday and Friday, outdoor photo exhibition titled "America Through My Lens."Held in the park in front of American Corner Tetovo, the exhibition featured photographs submitted through a public contest commemorating 30 years of diplomatic partnership between the United States and North Macedonia and celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence.
The exhibition showcased the unique experiences of citizens of North Macedonia who have traveled to the United States for study, work, exchange programs, and tourism. Through images of iconic landmarks, everyday life, cultural encounters, and personal moments, participants shared their perspectives on the freedoms, diversity, and opportunities they experienced in America.
By highlighting these personal stories and visual journeys, the exhibition celebrated the strong people-to-people ties between the two countries and honored the ideals of freedom and mutual understanding that continue to connect the United States and North Macedonia.

At American Corner Tetovo, participants had the opportunity to attend an inspiring presentation by Fulbright Specialist James Lofton on the power of persuasive public speaking and effective communication.

Through examples from the American Founding Fathers and other influential speakers, participants learned how speaking from the heart, confidence, and continuous practice can help create positive change in society.

The session encouraged young people to develop their public speaking skills, express their ideas with confidence, and understand that every voice can make a difference.

Exhibition: America through My Lens & Outdoor Games
We would like to invite you to join us in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary at the exhibition “America through My Lens” on May 28, 2026.
The exhibition will feature inspiring photographs and stories from citizens of North Macedonia who have lived, studied, worked, or traveled in the United States through education, cultural exchange programs, entrepreneurship, travel, and community experiences.
Visitors will also enjoy outdoor games and interactive activities in front of the Center for Culture, including tennis, VR experiences, chess, Jenga, Twister, and many other creative activities.
