Banfpu-1, Rotation-9, Minusma, Mali

On December 16 in 1971, after a nine-month-long war, Bangladesh was born as an independent country under the leadership of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
On 16 December 2023, this day is also celebrated in Banfpu-1, Camp, Bamako in Mali.Honourable Commander Mr MD Mohidul Islam PPM( Banfpu1 camp Bamako, Mali) with the all contingent members took part the celebration..
The Commander along with the Contingent members paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all other brave Martyrs by laying wreath of flower to the National Monument ( Temporarily built here). The celebration program has been formulated including a series of events like a grand cultural evening.

On 12 December 2023 medal parade ceremony was held in BANFPU-1 Camp, Bamako in Mali.

General Bettina Patric MINUSMA yesterday 8 September 2023 visited BANFPU-1 Contingent. They exchanged and shared views. They expressed their deep satisfaction at the welcome, cordial reception and entertainment bestowed by the Commander of BANFPU-1 along with the Command Staff.

present there. The team was satisfied with BANFPU-1 performance.

Consul of Bangladesh in Bamako, Mali along with his family members yesterday 26 August 2023 visited BANFPU-1 Contingent. They exchanged well and woes and shared views .They stayed in BANFPU-1 premise long time. They were entertained with dinner full of Bangladeshi food & drinks. They expressed their deep satisfaction at the welcome, cordial reception and entertainment bestowed by the respected Commander along with the Command Staff. It was a nice amalgamation and ended with happy gestures and mood.

On 15th August, The BANFPU-1 (Rotation-9), MINUSMA, Bamako, Mali is observing the 48th Martyrdom Day of the Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day-2023 with a series of events as keeping the National Flag half-mast (1/4 down from the top of the flag pole) placing the wreath of flowers at the monument of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with Guard of Honour, standing 1 minute sloemn silence commemorating the martyrs, a discussion meeting on the life, contribution and activities of Bangabandhu, tree plantation program and Recitation of the Holy Quran and Doa Mahfil in presence of all the members of BANFPU-1 (Rotation-9), Bamako, Mali.

On 23 July 2023 The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Algeria Mr. Muhammad Zulqar Nain has visited the Banfpu-1, Bamako in Mali. Commander Mr MD Mohidul Islam PPM received him cordially. His Excellency expressed his deep satisfaction hearing the over all activities of BANFPU-1 Contingent and the excellent image of BANFPU-1 Contingent members among among the Malian people.

On July 17 Psychological Assistance and Support training is conducted by the guest speaker Lt/Col Moncef Sellimi ( Tunisian FORCE PSYCHOLOGIST) in Banfpu-1. Our honourable
Commander Md Mohidul Islam PPM Banfpu-1, Mali along with all Command Staff was also present there with all other participants. Respected Commander sir briefed the participants about to maintain Stress Management.
