လိုအပ်နေသောပြည်သူများဆီသို့အဖွဲ့ (People in Need - PIN) သည် မြန်မာပြည်တွင် ၁၉၉၈ ခုနှစ်မှစတင်၍ နိုင်ငံတွင်းရှိ အရပ်ဖက်လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများအား တိုက်ရိုက်ကူညီထောက်ပံ့မှုများ ပေးနေရုံမက မြန်မာ-ထိုင်းနယ်စပ်ရှိ ထောင်ပေါင်းများစွာသော မြန်မာဒုက္ခသည်များအားလည်း ကူညီထောက်ပံ့ပေးလျက်ရှိသည်။ ပင်အဖွဲ့သည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် လူသားချင်းစာနာမှုအထောက်အပံ့များအား (နာဂစ်မုန်တိုင်းအပြီး) နှင့် လူ့အခွင့်အရေးလှုပ်ရှားမှုနှင့်ပတ်သတ်သော လုပ်ငန်းများ လုပ်ကိုင်လျက်ရှိသည်။ ၂၀၁၂ ခုနှစ် ဒီမိုကရေစီအစိုးရ ဦးဆောင်သော အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးစနစ်သို့ ပြောင်းလဲပြီးနောက်ပိုင်းတွင်လည်း ပင်အဖွဲ့သည် အကျိုးသက်ရောက်ခွင့်ရှိသူများနှင့် အရပ်ဖက်လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများနှင့် တိုက်ရိုက်ချိတ်ဆက် အလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်နိုင်ရန် ရန်ကုန်မြို့တွင် အမြဲတမ်းရုံးခွဲ ဖွင့်လှစ်တည်ထောင်ခဲ့သည်။ အလားတူပင် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် အစိုးရနှင့် ဒေသခံအာဏာပိုင်များနှင့်အတူ လက်တွဲ၍ လက်ရှိစိန်ခေါ်မှုများအား အဖြေရှာနိုင်ရန်လည်း ကူညီဆောင်ရွက်ပေးနေသည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့မှ အဓိကဦးတည်ချက်ထားသော ဒေသများတွင် စီမံကိန်းလုပ်ငန်းများ ဆောင်ရွက်ခြင်းဖြင့် အသိပညာများ ဖလှယ်ခြင်း၊ အရည်အသွေးများ မြှင့်တင်ပေးခြင်းနှင့် ကိုယ်ပိုင်အရည်အသွေးရှိသူများအား ထောက်ပံ့ပေးနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်လုပ်ဆောင်သည်။ ပင်အဖွဲ့သည် လက်ရှိတွင် စီမံကိန်း ၃ ခုအား အဓိကထား လုပ်ဆောင်နေသည်။ လတ်တလော ဆောင်ရွက်လျက် ရှိသော အဓိက စီမံကိန်း ၃ ခုထဲမှ တစ်ခုသည် အရပ်ဖက်လူမှုစီမံကိန်းဖြစ်သည်။ အဆိုပါ စီမံကိန်းမှတစ်ဆင့် ပင်အဖွဲ့သည် ကွာဟချက်များရှိနေသော ရပ်ရွာလူထုနှင့် ဒေသခံအစိုးရတို့ကြား ပေါင်းကူးပေးရန်၊ နိုင်ငံရေးတွေ့ဆုံဆွေးနွေးမှုများတွင် ကူညီပေးရန်နှင့် လူ့အခွင့်အရေးအား အခြေခံသော ဒီမိုကရေစီယဉ်ကျေးမှုအား မြှင့်တင်ပေးရန်အတွက် အဓိကအရေးကြီးသည့် အခန်းကဏ္ဍတွင်ပါဝင်သော အရပ်ဖက်လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းများအား ထောက်ပံ့ကူညီမှုများ ပြုလုပ်ပေးနေသည်။
အခြားစီမံကိန်းတစ်ခုဖြစ်သည့် လူမှုပေါင်းစည်းရေးစီမံကိန်းအားလည်း ကရင်ပြည်နယ်၊ မွန်ပြည်နယ်နှင့် ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်တို့ရှိ အုပ်စုလိုက်အကြမ်းဖက်မှုများ သက်ရောက်ခဲ့သောနေရာများတွင် လူမှုရေးလှုပ်ရှားမှုများ ပိုမိုလုပ်ဆောင်ရန်၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းစွာ အတူယှဉ်တွဲနေထိုင်ခြင်းအား မြှင့်တင်ပေးရန်၊ ရပ်ရွာဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးလုပ်ငန်းများမှ တဆင့် မတူကွဲပြားမှုများအား လေးစားတတ်ရန်၊ တည်ရှိနေသော ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေးတည်ဆောက်ခြင်းအား ထောက်ပံ့ပေးရန်၊ အမျိုးသမီးများ၏ အခန်းကဏ္ဍအား မြှင့်တင်ပေးရန်၊ လူငယ် လူနည်းစုဘာသာဝင်နှင့် တိုင်းရင်းသားကိုယ်စားလှယ်များအား ထောက်ပံ့ပေးရန်တို့ ဖြစ်သည်။ နောက်ထပ် စီမံကိန်းတစ်ခုအနေဖြင့် ကလေးသူငယ် ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ လုံခြုံမှုကွန်ယက်များဖြင့် လုပ်ဆောင်ချက် စီမံကိန်းအား ဘုန်းတော်ကြီးကျောင်းများတွင် သာမက မန္တလေးတိုင်း၊ စစ်ကိုင်းတိုင်းနှင့် ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်အတွင်းရှိ ရပ်ရွာများတွင် ဆောင်ရွက်နေသည်။ ကလေးသူငယ် ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရေးဆိုင်ရာ လုံခြုံမှုကွန်ယက် စီမံကိန်းသည် ကလေးသူငယ် အခွင့်အရေးနှင့် ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရေး အသိပညာများအား ယင်းတို့ဒေသရှိ စာသင်ကျောင်းများနှင့် ရပ်ရွာများတွင် သင်ကြားပေးခြင်းအားဖြင့် အကြမ်းဖက်မှုကင်းစင်သော ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်တစ်ခု ဖန်တီးနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်သည်။ ကလေးသူငယ် ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ရေးစီမံချက်အား တည်ထောင်ပြီး ကျေးလက်နေပြည်သူလူထုများ၏ စွမ်းရည်ကို မြှင့်တင်ပေးခြင်းဖြင့် ၎င်းတို့ဒေသတွင် ကလေးသူငယ်ကာကွယ်စောင့်ရှောက်ခြင်းနှင့် စပ်ဆိုင်သော ပြဿနာရပ်များ ပေါ်ပေါက်လာပါက ၎င်းတို့ကိုယ်တိုင် ကာကွယ်တားဆီးသွားနိုင်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်ပါသည်။

People in Need is a Czech non-governmental organization providing relief and development assistance, while defending human rights and democratic freedoms. Our vision: “Myanmar’s democratic transition leads to peace and social cohesion across ethnic, religious and other divides, and to positive change in favour of the most vulnerable.”
People in Need started working in Myanmar in 1998, by providing assistance to members of civil society groups directly within the country, as well as on the Thai-Myanmar border, where hundreds of thousands of Myanmar´s refugees were residing. Our history in Myanmar is characterized by both humanitarian assistance (after Nargis) and human rights-based activities. In 2012, following the countries transition to a democratically led government, we established a permanent office in Yangon with the aim of gaining direct access to the beneficiaries and to deliver assistance to civil society organizations from within the country. Similarly, to ensure there is a greater impact from our work through closer collaboration with government and local authorities. Our program areas primarily focus on knowledge transfer, skills development and support to local initiatives. One of our three main programs is the Civil Society Program, through this program we support civil society organizations that play a critical role in bridging the gap between communities and local governments and contribute to policy dialogue and the strengthening of a democratic culture based on human rights. The program is implemented in Mon, Kayin, Shan States and Mandalay Region. The Social Cohesion Program aims at promoting civil action in communities affected by inter-communal violence and promote peaceful coexistence and respect for diversity through community development, support of existing peacebuilding efforts and promotion of the active participation of women, youth and representatives of ethnic and religious minorities in Kayin, Mon and Rakhine States. The Child Protection Program is implementing a 'Strengthening Child Protection safety nets Project' in Monastic Schools and their surrounding communities in the Sagaing Division, Mandalay Division and Shan States. The Child Protection Safety Nets project aims to create violence free environments by raising awareness about child right and child protection in local schools and local communities. Through the establishment of Child Protection Groups the project is enhancing the capacities of non-state actors and other relevant local entities to respond to child protection risks in their local communities.
