မိသားစုတွေလည်း ခက်ခက်ခဲခဲ ရုန်းကန်ရှင်သန်နေကြရပါတယ်။

ဒီလိုအချိန် ဒီနေ့မှာတော့ ဥရောပသမဂ္ဂ နဲ့ WFP တို့ဟာ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ အရေးပေါ်လိုအပ်နေတဲ့ စားနပ်ရိက္ခာနဲ့ အာဟာရအထောက်အပံ့တွေ ပေးအပ်နိုင်ဖို့ ယူရို ၈ သန်း ကူညီလိုက်တဲ့အကြောင်း ပူးတွဲကြေညာလိုက်ပါတယ်။

လက်ရှိ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံမှာ လူ ၄ ယောက်မှာ ၁ ယောက်နှုန်းနဲ့ စုစုပေါင်း လူဦးရေ ၁၂ ဒဿမ ၄ သန်း ဟာ လတ်တလော ဆာလောင်မွတ်သိပ်မှုဒဏ်ကို ရင်ဆိုင်နေရပြီး၊ လူဦးရေ ၃ ဒဿမ ၇ သန်းဟာလည်း ဆက်လက်ဖြစ်ပွားနေတဲ့ ပဋိပက္ခတွေကြောင့် နေရပ်စွန့်ခွာတိမ်းရှောင်နေကြရပါတယ်။

အခြေခံစားသောက်ကုန်စျေးနှုန်းတွေဟာ တစ်နိုင်ငံလုံးအနှံ့ ၁၈% ထိ မြင့်တက်နေပြီး၊ မကွေးတိုင်းဒေသကြီးမှာ (၃၈%)၊ ကရင်ပြည်နယ်မှာ (၃၂%) နဲ့ ရခိုင်ပြည်နယ်မှာ (၃၁%) အသီးသီးမြင့်တက်နေပါတယ်။

Families are struggling.
Humanitarian needs are deepening.

Today, the European Union and WFP announced a EUR 8 million contribution to support urgent food and nutrition assistance in Myanmar. 🙏

One in four people in Myanmar – 12.4 million – are acutely food insecure, while 3.7 million remain displaced by ongoing conflict.

With staple food prices increasing by 18% nationwide and even sharper increases in parts of Magway (38%), Kayin (32%) and Rakhine (31%) many families find it harder to put food on the table.

This critical EU support will help WFP
👉 deliver emergency food assistance to food-insecure families affected by conflict, displacement, and economic hardship
