เมื่อวันที่ ๗ เม.ย.๖๙ น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และภริยา ได้ให้การรับรองและอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ พล.ร.ท.วีรุดม ม่วงจีน ผบ.ทรภ.๓ และคุณสาริสา ม่วงจีน ภริยา พร้อมคณะ ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนกรุงย่างกุ้งและกรุงเนปยีดอ สาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา เพื่อเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีและความร่วมมือระหว่างกองทัพเรือทั้งสองประเทศ
โดยคณะฯ ได้ปฏิบัติภารกิจสำคัญ ได้แก่ การศึกษาภูมิประเทศและเยี่ยมชมสถานที่สำคัญในกรุงย่างกุ้ง การตรวจเยี่ยม สน.ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง
การเดินทางเยือนในครั้งนี้เป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อยและประสบผลสำเร็จ สามารถเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันแน่นแฟ้นและความไว้วางใจระหว่างกองทัพเรือไทย กองทัพเรือเมียนมา และหน่วยยามฝั่งเมียนมา อันเป็นพื้นฐานสำคัญในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านความมั่นคงทางทะเลในอนาคต

On 7 April 2026, Senior Captain Rak Rakbumrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, and his spouse extended hospitality and facilitated arrangements for Vice Admiral Veerudome Muangchean, Commander of the Third Naval Area Command, and Mrs.Sarisa Muangchean, along with their delegation, on the occasion of their visit to Yangon and Nay Pyi Taw, Republic of the Union of Myanmar, with the objective of strengthening amicable relations and cooperation between the navies of the two countries. During the visit, the delegation carried out key activities, including a terrain and area study as well as visits to important sites in Yangon, and an inspection visit to the Office of the Thai Naval Attaché in Yangon. The visit was conducted smoothly and successfully, contributing to the enhancement of close relations and mutual trust between the Royal Thai Navy, the Myanmar Navy, and the Myanmar Coast Guard, which serve as an important foundation for future maritime security cooperation.

เมื่อวันที่ ๖ เม.ย.๖๙ เวลา ๐๙๓๐ น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง พร้อมด้วย พล.ร.ท.วีรุดม ม่วงจีน ผบ.ทรภ.๓ และคณะ เข้าเยี่ยมคำนับ พล.ร.อ.เท่ง วิน ผบ.ทร.มม. เพื่อแนะนำตัวและประสานความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง ทร.ไทย และ ทร.เมียนมา โดยเฉพาะพื้นที่ทางทะเลอันดามัน ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ติดกัน และกล่าวถึงความร่วมมือทางทหารในอนาคต ทั้งนี้ ผบ.ทร.มม. กล่าวจะเข้าร่วมประชุม ผบ.ทร.อาเซียน ที่จะจัดขึ้นในเดือนสิงหาคม ณ กรุงเทพมหานครโดย ทร.ไทย เป็นเจ้าภาพ สามารถสร้างความสัมพันธ์ได้เป็นอย่างดี

On 6 April 2026 at 0930 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with Vice Admiral Veerudome Muangchean, Commander of the Third Naval Area Command, and delegation, paid a courtesy call on Admiral Htein Win, Commander-in-Chief of the Myanmar Navy, to formally introduce themselves and further strengthen the amicable relations between the two navies.
On this occasion, both sides engaged in discussions and exchanged views on maritime security cooperation, particularly in the Andaman Sea, as well as explored avenues for future collaboration. These included information sharing, joint exercises, and coordination in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief. The meeting was conducted in a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting mutual trust, longstanding friendship, and the close ties between the two navies.
Furthermore, the Commander-in-Chief of the Myanmar Navy expressed his willingness to attend the ASEAN Navy Chiefs’ Meeting, which will be hosted by the Royal Thai Navy in August in Bangkok. This will serve as an important opportunity to further enhance relations and strengthen cooperation among regional navies.

On 4 April 2026 at 1030 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbumrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, welcomed Vice Admiral Veerudome Muangchean, Commander of the Third Naval Area Command, and his delegation at Yangon International Airport.
- At 1200 hrs, he escorted the Commander of the Third Naval Area Command and his delegation on an inspection visit to HTMS Kraburi at Thilawa Port. On this occasion, Rear Admiral Thein Htoo, Commander of Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Htun Lu, Commander of Naval Training Command and Rear Admiral Thet Lwin Tun, Commandant of Myanmar Coast Guard , were invited to attend a luncheon together at the wardroom aboard HTMS Kraburi.
- At 1430 hrs, Commander of the Third Naval Area Command and his delegation on a courtesy call on Rear Rear Admiral Thein Htoo, Commander of Central Naval Command at the Central Command headquarters, Myanmar Navy, Yangon.
- At 1500 hrs, Commander of the Third Naval Area Command and his delegation on a courtesy call on Rear Admiral Htun Lu, Commander of Naval Training Command at the Naval Training Command.
- At 1600 hrs, Commander of the Third Naval Area Command and his delegation on a courtesy call on Rear Admiral Tet Lwin Tun, Commandant of Myanmar Coast Guard at the Coast Guard headquarters.
- At 1830 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbumrung RTN attended the send-off ceremony of HTMS Kraburi departing for Thailand at Thilawa Port, Yangon. The ceremony was presided over by Captain Naing Oo, Deputy Director of the Hydrographic Center, Myanmar Navy, as the representative of the Myanmar Navy, along with officials from the Myanmar Navy.
- At 1930 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbumrung RTN hosted a reception in honor of the Commander of the Third Naval Area Command and his delegation on the occasion of their official visit at the Office of the Thai Naval Attaché in Yangon.

On 2–3 April 2026 at 0900 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbumrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, Led the Commander of Task Unit and his delegation on a visit to the Naval Training Command. On this occasion, Rear Admiral Htun Lu, Commander of Naval Training Command, extended a warm welcome and guided the delegation on a tour of the naval museum, as well as a demonstration of simulator-based training for main propulsion machinery systems.

At 1200 hrs, the Commander of Task Unit and his delegation were escorted on a study visit to Kaba Aye Pagoda, Shwedagon Pagoda, and Bogyoke Market.

On 1 April 2026 at 0700 hrs, personnel of HTMS Kraburi participated in basketball and golf competitions aimed at fostering cordial relations.
Later, at 1830 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, attended a reception held on board HTMS Kraburi. Distinguished attendees included Mr. Yodying Supasri, Chargé d'affaires of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, as well as senior military officers of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar,Major General Tin Min Latt, Commander of Yangon Region Command, Rear Admiral Thein Htoo, Commander of Central Naval Command and Brigadier General Zaw Win, Commander of Southern Air Command.
In addition, representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy, Defence Services Attaché Corps of Myanmar, and members of the private sector, including Thai and Myanmar businesspersons, were present, totaling approximately 150 participants.

On 31 March at 0530 hrs., Senior Captain Rak Rakbumrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon and spouse, received HTMS Kraburi at Thilawa Port, Yangon. Representing the Myanmar Navy was Captain Kyaw Thet Naing, Commander of No.1 Fleet, accompanied by naval officials from the Myanmar Navy.

On 26 March 2025 at 1900 hrs,Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, attended a reception on the occasion of the 81st Anniversary of the Myanmar Armed Forces Day. The event was held at the forecourt of Zayathiri Beikman Reception Hall, Myanmar Armed Forces Headquarters, and was presided over by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Distinguished attendees included the Commanders-in-Chief of the Myanmar Armed Forces, the Chief of Myanmar Police Force, members of the State Administration Council (SAC), foreign defence attachés, representatives from various states, as well as representatives of ethnic groups.
The event proceeded smoothly and provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the cordial relations between the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the Myanmar Armed Forces, as well as to enhance cooperation and mutual understanding among the defence attaché corps in Myanmar.
The mission was carried out successfully.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๙ เวลา ๑๘๐๐ น. โดย น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และภริยา ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำให้แก่คณะผู้บริหารของบริษัท ปตท.สผ. ประจำกรุงย่างกุ้ง ในโอกาสนี้ ด้วยแหล่งพลังงานไทยในต่างแดน คืนพื้นที่สำคัญที่เราต้องช่วยปกป้อง สำนักงานผู้ช่วยทูตฝ่ายทหารเรือไทย ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ได้จัดกิจกรรมเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างกัน ตลอดจนเปิดโอกาสให้มีการสนทนาและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลข่าวสารในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้อง โดยเฉพาะข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินธุรกิจของบริษัท ปตท.สผ. ในสาธารณรัฐแห่งสหภาพเมียนมา ซึ่งโครงการส่วนใหญ่อยู่ในพื้นที่ความรับผิดชอบของกองทัพเรือเมียนมา ในกรณีต้องประสานงานเพื่อให้ความช่วยเหลือ อันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อประชาชน และประเทศไทย

On 2 February 2026 at 1800 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, hosted a dinner reception for the executive management of PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP), Yangon.
The occasion provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen cordial relations and to exchange views and relevant information. In particular, discussions were held regarding PTTEP’s business operations in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, most of which are located within areas under the responsibility of the Myanmar Navy. Such exchanges contributed to enhanced mutual understanding and cooperation

เมื่อวันที่ ๓๐ ม.ค.๖๙ เวลา ๐๙๐๐ น. น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และภริยา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการทีมประเทศไทยประจำกรุงย่างกุ้งและคู่สมรส ได้ร่วมธรรมเนียมปฏิบัติในการอำลาและส่ง นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง และภริยา ณ สนามบินนานาชาติกรุงย่างกุ้ง ในโอกาสเดินทางไปปฏิบัติหน้าที่ตำแหน่งใหม่เป็นเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวลลิงตัน นิวซีแลนด์

On 30 January 2026 at 0900 hours, Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, and officials of Team Thailand stationed in Yangon and their spouses, participated in the customary farewell and send-off ceremony for His Excellency Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and his spouse, at Yangon International Airport.
This occasion reflected the long-standing cordiality, close cooperation, and warm relations among members of Team Thailand during His Excellency’s tenure in Myanmar, as well as the spirit of unity and mutual support in the conduct of diplomatic duties abroad. The send-off was held on the occasion of His Excellency’s departure to assume his new post as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Wellington, New Zealand.
Prior to the departure, a group photograph of the Heads of Offices and officials of Team Thailand was taken in front of the Ambassador’s Residence, symbolizing the strong bonds, goodwill, and harmonious working relationship among the Thai diplomatic community in Yangon.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๙ ม.ค.๖๙ เวลา ๑๐๐๐ น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และภริยา พร้อมด้วยข้าราชการทีมประเทศไทยประจำกรุงย่างกุ้งและคู่สมรส เข้าร่วมพิธีบำเพ็ญกุศลสตมวาร (ครบ ๑๐๐ วัน) เพื่อถวายเป็นพระราชกุศลแด่สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ณ อาคารที่ทำการ สอท. ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง โดยมี นายเสกสรรค์ สโรบล อุปทูต ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง เป็นประธานฯ กิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการทำบุญตักบาตรข้าวสารอาหารแห้ง พิธีเจริญพระพุทธมนต์ฟังพระธรรมเทศนา และถวายภัตตาหารเพล

On 29 January 2026 at 1000 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, accompanied by officials of Team Thailand stationed in Yangon and their spouses, attended the Merit-Making Ceremony marking the 100th Day Memorial held in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, to dedicate royal merit to Her Majesty. The ceremony took place at the premises of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon.
On this occasion, Mr. Seksan Sarobol, Minister-Counsellor of the Royal Thai Embassy in Yangon, presided over the ceremony. The activities included alms-giving of dry food to monks, a Buddhist chanting ceremony, listening to a Dharma sermon, and the offering of lunch to the monks.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๓ ม.ค.๖๙ เวลา ๑๘๐๐ น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และคุณเบญจพร รักษ์บำรุง ภริยา ร่วมงาน Tray Party ณ โรงแรม Wyndham Grand Hotel ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการอำลา Major Nate Wills ผชท.ทอ.สหรัฐ/ย่างกุ้ง และ Major Suwandi Kusumawandana รอง ผชท.ทหารอินโดนีเซีย/ย่างกุ้ง พร้อมครอบครัว เนื่องในโอกาสครบวาระการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ บรรยากาศภายในงานเป็นไปด้วยความอบอุ่น เป็นกันเอง และสะท้อนถึงมิตรภาพอันดีระหว่างผู้เข้าร่วมงาน อันเอื้อต่อการเสริมสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประเทศ การปฏิบัติเป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อย

On 23 January 2026 at 1800 hours, Captain Rak Rakbamrung, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, attended a Tray Party held at the Wyndham Grand Hotel. The event was organized as a farewell in honor of Major Nate Wills, U.S. Air Attaché to Yangon, and Major Suwandi Kusumawandana, Deputy Defense Attaché of Indonesia to Yangon, along with their families, on the occasion of the completion of their respective tours of duty.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, reflecting the close friendship and goodwill among members of the diplomatic and defense communities. Such engagement contributed to the promotion of mutual understanding and the strengthening of amicable relations among participating countries. The event proceeded smoothly.

เมื่อวันที่ ๒๑ ม.ค.๖๙ เวลา ๑๘๐๐ น.อ.รักษ์ รักษ์บำรุง ผชท.ทร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และคุณเบญจพร รักษ์บำรุง ภริยา พร้อมด้วย พ.อ.พงศ์พันธุ์ พุทธา ผชท.ทบ.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และภริยา น.อ.ธฤษณัช ปาลกะวงศ์ ณ อยุธยา ผชท.ทอ.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง และภริยา และ พ.ต.อ.ณัฐ พรหมเทพ ผชท.ตร.ไทย/ย่างกุ้ง ได้ร่วมกันเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานวันกองทัพไทย ประจำปี ๒๕๖๙ ณ โรงแรม Novotel Yangon Max ในการนี้ นายมงคล วิศิษฏ์สตัมภ์ เอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงย่างกุ้ง ให้เกียรติเป็นประธานในพิธี และมี พลตรี Pyae Sone Lin ผู้บัญชาการภาคทหารบกย่างกุ้ง เป็นแขกเกียรติยศฝ่ายเมียนมา ทั้งนี้ กองทัพเมียนมาได้จัดผู้แทนเหล่าทัพเข้าร่วมงาน จำนวน ๔ ท่าน พร้อมภริยา ได้แก่
๑. พลตรี Pyae Sone Lin ผู้บัญชาการภาคทหารบกย่างกุ้ง
๒. พลเรือตรี Thein Htoo ผู้บัญชาการกองบัญชาการทหารเรือภาคกลาง
๓. พลอากาศจัตวา Kyaw Thet Naing รองผู้บัญชาการกองบัญชาการทางอากาศภาคใต้
๔. นาวาอากาศเอก Kyaw Soe Hein รองผู้บัญชาการฐานบินมินกะลาดอน
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีผู้ช่วยทูตทหารต่างประเทศประจำกรุงย่างกุ้ง นักธุรกิจไทย–เมียนมาในกรุงย่างกุ้ง และข้าราชการทีมประเทศไทย พร้อมคู่สมรส เข้าร่วมงาน รวมทั้งสิ้นประมาณ ๒๐๐ คน
บรรยากาศภายในงานเป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อย อบอุ่น และเป็นกันเอง ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้มีโอกาสพบปะ พูดคุย และแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างไม่เป็นทางการ อันสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงมิตรภาพอันดี ความเข้าใจอันแน่นแฟ้น และความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างกองทัพไทยกับกองทัพเมียนมา ซึ่งนับเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างประเทศ

On 21 January 2026 at 1800 hrs, Senior Captain Rak Rakbamrung RTN, Naval Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, together with his spouse, Colonel Phongphan Phuttha, Army Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, and his spouse, Group Captain Thirathat Palagawongse Na Ayudhya, Air Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, and his spouse, as well as Police Colonel Nat Promthep, Police Attaché of Thailand to Yangon, jointly hosted the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day Reception 2026 at Novotel Yangon Max Hotel.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Mongkol Visitstump, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Yangon, graciously presided over the ceremony. Major General Pyae Sone Lin, Commander of Yangon Regional Military Command, attended the event as the Guest of Honour representing the Myanmar side.
The Myanmar Armed Forces were represented by four senior officers, accompanied by their spouses, as follows:
1. Major General Pyae Sone Lin, Commander of Yangon Regional Military Command
2. Rear Admiral Thein Htoo, Commander of Central Naval Command
3. Air Commodore Kyaw Thet Naing, Deputy Commander of Southern Air Command
4. Group Captain Kyaw Soe Hein, Deputy Commander of Mingaladon Air Base
In addition, foreign military attachés accredited to Yangon, Thai–Myanmar business representatives in Yangon, and officials of Team Thailand, together with their spouses, attended the reception, with a total of approximately 200 guests.
The atmosphere of the event was orderly, warm, and cordial. The reception provided an opportunity for participants to meet, converse, and exchange views in an informal setting, reflecting the strong friendship, mutual understanding, and close relations between the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the Myanmar Armed Forces. This event contributed positively to the promotion of cooperation and the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
