In partnership with NEI, workshops and dialogues are held on Regional Economic Reform (e.g. Awareness raising in Revenue Model and Taxation System Dialogue Program), Regional Development Reform (e.g. Green Urban Planning Workshop Program), Capacity Building in youth sector (e.g. Youth in Entrepreneurship Training Program) and Research by need assessment (e.g. Research Methodology Training Program).

Paññā Institute
KAS is proud to collaborate with Paññā on The Social Science Summer School which ran in May 2018 for a fortnight at the Yangon University and Mandalay University. Courses on international relations, comparative politics, public policy and methodology amongst other subjects were taught by a consortium of eminent Burmese and international professors.
KAS in partnership with Paññā also carries civil service trainings in Nay Pyi Taw.

Pyidaungsu Institute for Peace and Dialogue
KAS’ collaboration with Pyidangsu lead to the publication of Research on local governance in rural areas which lead to the book the book “This Matters to Us: Informal Local Governance Case Studies in Myanmar’s Rural Areas”.

SEED for Myanmar
In partnership with KAS and under the lead of KASYP alumni, SEED for Myanmar organizes events aimed at studying the various perceptions on democratic values and political ideologies of different generations. Activities also aim to educating youth about democratic values, peace and security issues, the concept of diversity across generations and to raise awareness on the importance of strategic communication.
