Announcement of Online e-Visa Reopening

1. The Ministry of Immigration and Population launched the e-Visa Website (evisa.moip.gov.mm) on 1st September 2014. In light of the evolving COVID-19 situation and rapid increase of COVID-19 cases around the globe, there has been a temporary suspension for all new e-Visa applications since 20th March 2020, 23:59 Myanmar Standard Time (GMT +6:30).
2. At present, COVID-19 diagnosis confirmed rate and infection rate have dropped. In support of the economic development of the State, the Online e-Visa system will reopen on 1st April 2022 for business visa applications in accordance with the COVID-19 rules and regulations of the Ministry of Health.
3. Requirements for the application of Online e-Visa (Business) will be available at the Ministry’s website https://evisa.moip.gov.mm.

၁။​လူဝင်မှုကြီးကြပ်ရေးနှင့်ပြည်သူ့အင်အားဝန်ကြီးဌာနသည် Online e-Visa လျှောက်ထားရယူမှုများ အား ၂၀၁၄ ခုနှစ် စက်တင်ဘာလ (၁) ရက်နေ့မှစတင်၍လွှင့်တင်ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့ပြီး ၂၀၂၀ ပြည့်နှစ်တွင် ကမ္ဘာ တစ်ဝန်း ကိုဗစ်-၁၉ ဆိုင်ရာ ကူးစက်ရောဂါပြန့်ပွားမှုနှုန်းမြင့်မားလာသည့်အတွက် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့လာရောက် သည့် ခရီးသွားများအပေါ် ကြိုတင်ကာကွယ်မှုဆောင်ရွက်သည့် ကန့်သတ်ချက်များနှင့်အညီ (၂၀-၃-၂၀၂၀) ရက်နေ့ မြန်မာစံတော်ချိန် (GMT +6:30)၊ (၂၃:၅၉) အချိန်မှစတင်၍ ယာယီရပ်ဆိုင်းထားခဲ့ပါသည်။
၂။​ယခုအခါ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ကိုဗစ်-၁၉ ရောဂါကူးစက်ဖြစ်ပွားမှုနှုန်း လျှော့နည်းကျဆင်းလာသည့် အပြင် နိုင်ငံတော်၏စီးပွားရေးဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုကို အထောက်အကူပြုနိုင်ရန်အတွက် ကျန်းမာရေးဝန်ကြီး ဌာန၏ ကိုဗစ်-၁၉ ဆိုင်ရာ စည်းကမ်းသတ်မှတ်ချက်များနှင့်အညီ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံသို့ ဝင်ရောက်ခွင့်ပြုမည်ဖြစ်ရာ Online e-Visa စနစ်အား ပြန်လည်စတင်ဆောင်ရွက်သွားမည်ဖြစ်ပြီး ၂၀၂၂ ခုနှစ်၊ ဧပြီလ (၁) ရက်နေ့မှ စတင်၍ Business Visa(လုပ်ငန်းဗီဇာ)လျှောက်ထားမှုများအား ခွင့်ပြုဆောင်ရွက်ပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
၃။​Online e-Visa (Business) လျှောက်ထားရန်လိုအပ်သည့်သတ်မှတ်ချက်များအား မိမိဝန်ကြီးဌာန၏ website လိပ်စာ https://evisa.moip.gov.mm တွင် ဝင်ရောက်ကြည့်ရှုလေ့လာ၍လျှောက်ထားနိုင်ပြီဖြစ်ပါ ကြောင်း အသိပေး ကြေညာအပ်ပါသည်။

Announcement on the launch of Online e-Stay Extension Website
To expedite the implementation of Myanmar’s e-government digitization and to support the development of Myanmar’s tourism industry, the Ministry of Immigration and Population launched the e-Visa Website (evisa.moip.gov.mm) on 11st September 2014. Tourist e-Visas and Business e-Visas have been issued electronically.
In support of the economic development of the State, the e-Stay Extension website (estay.moip.gov.mm) will be launched on 1st November 2021. This allows foreigners residing and working in Myanmar who have entered Myanmar via the e-Visa (Business) obtained from the e-Visa website to apply for a Stay Extension and Re-entry Visa online.
Plagiarisms of design and information displayed on the website or any part of the website, along with any misleading conduct in Myanmar or in foreign countries will be subject to legal action in accordance with the existing laws of Myanmar.

This is to announce the validity of all unused e-Visa which were issued during the period, from 2nd January 2020 to 21st March 2020 will be extended for (90) days from the date of removal of travel restrictions to Myanmar.

Full Moon Day of Thadingyut (End of Buddhist Lent)

Dear Valued Visitors,
Kindly note that 11st to 15th October, 2019 is the Full Moon Day of Thadingyut (End of Buddhist Lent). Normal Tourist and Business eVisa applications will only be processed following these holidays. Visa Exemption Extension Announcement

Dear Valued Visitors,

We would like to announce that the Pilot Program for visa exemption has been extended until 30thSeptember, 2020. As per this Program, Japan, Korea Republic, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China and Macau Special Administrative Region of China do not require a visa for tourist visits of up to 30 days and will be able to enter and depart from all International Checkpoints.
