These beautiful hat, scarf, and mitten are made from the hair of the endangered Wild Camel. Each piece is truly one of a kind. The camel hair was carefully collected by a herder family member working at the Wild Camel Breeding Centers in the Gobi Desert of Mongolia and then hand-knitted by the family. By taking one of these unique pieces home, you will directly support wild camel conservation efforts in Mongolia. To make a purchase, please check out the link in the first comment.
Special thanks to Saruul Towshoo for generously donating her time as our model for charitable purposes.

Did you know there are fewer than 1,000 wild camels left in the world, making them one of the most endangered species on the brink of extinction?
After Global Heritage Society team returning from the Wild Camel Breeding Center in Mongolia in April 2025, where we witnessed the birth of a wild camel, I asked my favorite master scratchboard artists, Amy Stauffer , to create a piece inspired by my image of a female wild camel with her newborn calf. Amy produced an extraordinary artwork in her distinctive style, and I am now releasing both poster prints and the original piece to support wild camel conservation in Mongolia.

The Wild Camel Art Initiative by the Global Heritage Society brings together a diverse group of artists from various disciplines to create compelling artworks of wild camels. These pieces will be used to raise awareness and generate funds for the conservation of the critically endangered wild camels of Mongolia. Through the power of art, we aim to highlight the plight of these remarkable creatures and support efforts to ensure their survival.
This painting is by at from Malaysia. We sincerely thank her for his time, effort, and generous contribution in support of wild camel conservation.
