TTT's 3rd Annual Wahoo in the Marianas is coming up THIS Saturda and we are excited to see some new and familiar faces at the Smiling Cove Marina!!!

Here are the results from the 37th Annual Saipan International Fishing Tournament this past weekend (07/10-11/2021).

At tournaments like these, it is our responsibility to weigh and record catch from boats that come in. This is a priority for us to collect, process, and share important fisheries monitoring data during fishing tournaments that will be used in federal and local fisheries management programs for the CNMI.

It was great seeing the community come together to enjoy the Saipan Fishermen's Association's yearly tradition of hosting this event. 90 boats registered this year and everyone came back safe!

I also want to thank our DFW staff and volunteers for the hard work and teamwork displayed this past weekend! Outstanding!

The 37th Annual Saipan International Fishing Tournament has commenced! Since 06:00 this morning, 83 motorized vessels and 5 traditional canoes had made their way out of the Smiling Cove Marina here on Saipan to start off the biggest fishing event of the CNMI.
