Over $980,000 in medical costs covered by military’s Wellness Mission BY close of business hours on Sunday, July 16, the Innovative Readiness Training-Wellness Mission 2023 had provided about $983,843 in medical and ancillary services to Saipan, Tinian and Rota, Col.

The optometry services of the U.S. Department of Defense’s Innovative Readiness Training Operation CNMI Wellness mission has already received about 750 eyeglass orders out of their 800 no-cost pair of eyeglasses that are planned for the islands of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

Kicking off a weeklong military training program that offers free medical and veterinary services in the CNMI, Monday marked a great start for veterinarians and community members who participated in what is being dubbed “IRT CNMI Wellness Mission,” with a total of 42 pets benefiting from the outreach.
