Ambassador Guy Harrison took part in the celebrations of the Festival of Heritage Cities at UNESCO World Heritage site Ouadane 🏛️, presided over by H.E. President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani.
The Ambassador met some of Mauritania’s talented artisans 👨🏾🎨, who are preserving Mauritania’s rich and unique heritage for future generations.

In the lead-up to the Festival of Heritage Cities in Ouadane, Ambassador Guy Harrison visited Atar, the capital of the Adrar region.
The Ambassador met 🤝with the Mayor of Atar, Mr Brahim Mohamed Bdebba, to discuss and explore ways to support the municipality’s local priorities.
A great start to the Adrar mission and to a week celebrating Mauritania’s remarkable cultural heritage.🇬🇧🤝🇲🇷
