Malta Institute of Hospitality and Management have developed an industry focused Hospitality and Tourism programme specifically designed to kick start your career within the industry.
Our short programme will give you an insight into the industry and equip you with some of skills that are required to thrive within this industry. Furthermore the course will set a pathway to progressing to a higher level programme or simply giving you a boost within your current role.
The programme is intensive and delivered by tutors and industry experts with extensive experience, and covers the following core areas:
1. Employability Skills for the Hospitality Industry
This covers the key skills you will require to pursue a career in the hospitality industry including amongst other topics presentation skills, CV writing and Interview Skills, body language

2. Customer Service for the Hospitality Industry
This unit covers key skills amongst which are topics such as how to handle complaints, dealing with difficult customers , understanding the value of good customer service.
The course lasts for 4 weeks at 20 hours per week. At the end of the course successful students will obtain the Level 3 International award in hospitality awarded by OTHM a UK awarding body. Students will be able to gain credits with international universities if they choose to undertake further studies.
