➡️Man arrested & arraigned in connection with pornographic material involving minors.

➡️Man arrested & arraigned over r**e charges on his former partner.

➡️5 men arrested & arraigned over separate charges related to domestic violence.

➡️Teenager arrested & arraigned for assaulting an injuring his elderly neighbour in Mellieha.

➡️2 men arrested & arraigned over reckless driving and posting a video of same on social media.

➡️Teenager arrested and arraigned over reckless driving without a valid licence/insurance in Tarxien.

➡️Man arrested and arraigned over reckless driving without a valid licence/insurance.

➡️2 men arrested & arraigned over theft from St Julian’s.

➡️Man and woman arrested & arraigned in connection with pickpocketing thefts in Valletta.

➡️Man arrested & arraigned over a series of theft from parked vehicles in Hamrun.

➡️Man was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment after admitting to attacking two men with a knife in Gozo.

➡️ 2 men arrested & arraigned over drug trafficking and money laundering in Marsa.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over attempted murder after stabbing another man in Marsa.

➡️ 2 men arrested & arraigned over trafficking of co***ne and cannabis in St Julian’s.

➡️ 2 men arrested & arraigned in connection with complicity in abduction, psychological torture and non-consensual sexual acts in San Gwann.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for causing injuries to another man through negligence during a traffic accident, diving without a valid license/insurance and driving under the influence of alcohol.

➡️ 2 men arrested & arraigned over separate cases of theft from the Malta International Airport.

➡️ Woman arrested & arraigned over theft from the Malta International Airport.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over theft from vehicle in Qormi and attempting to escape from police custody.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over a series of thefts from vehicles and a commercial establishment in Żabbar and Bormla.

➡️ Woman arrested & arraigned for assaulting and injuring the head and assistant head of Kalkara Primary School.

➡️ Teen arrested & arraigned for causing injuries to another minor at Qormi.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for attacking and injuring a Police Sergeant and Constable in Birzebbugia.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for falsifying a licence disc on a vehicle.

➡️ 8 men arrested & arraigned over separate charges related to domestic violence.

➡️ Man was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment and fined €7,000 after being found guilty of importing cannabis into Malta following a controlled delivery operation.

➡️ Man sentenced to 4 years imprisonment and fined €7,000 after pleading guilty to acting as an intermediary in trafficking on cannabis.

➡️ Man sentenced to 3 months imprisonment after pleading guilty to assisting persons enter in Malta illegally.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over unauthorised access of data and facilitating people to enter Malta illegally.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over possession of a fake passport.

➡️ Woman arrested & arraigned for running a brothel, human trafficking and money laundering.

➡️ Man & woman arrested & arraigned over illegal possession of canisters of laughing gas.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over possession of co***ne and illegal possession of a firearm.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over theft and fraud to clients in relation to car rental payments.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for causing wilful damages on a cab in Birkirkara.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned for driving without a valid license / insurance.

➡️ Man arrested & arraigned over theft from the Malta International Airport.

➡️ 10 men arrested & arraigned over separate charges related to domestic violence.

➡️ 2 men were collectively sentenced to 13 and 9 years imprisonment after being found guilty of string of violent armed robberies.

➡️ Man was sentenced to 12 and a half years imprisonment and fined €30,000 after being found guilty of co***ne trafficking.

➡️ Man was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment and fined €3,000 after being found guilty of importing cannabis resin in Malta.

➡️ Man was sentenced to 15 months imprisonment and ordered to compensate the victims after being found guilty of a robbery from a Marsa apartment.

➡️33 victims assisted.

The is currently receiving reports of scam calls where individuals are being contacted from what appear to be local mobile numbers. The callers falsely claim to represent entities such as Interpol, the Financial Crimes Department or other law enforcement agencies.

During these calls, individuals are being asked to provide email addresses and other personal information.

Police investigators and Interpol will NEVER request personal or sensitive information in this manner.

CPT Marsaxlokk & Birżebbuġa were proud to attend the vibrant ‘Festa Bengħajsa’ held yesterday in Birżebbuġa, an event organised by the Birżebbuġa Local Council.

It was a wonderful occasion celebrating community spirit, culture, and local traditions. Our presence aimed to support and engage with the community, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all those attending.

A big well done to the organisers and everyone involved in making this event such a success. We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that bring our communities together.
