Today, we thank Ms Miriam Teuma for her outstanding leadership, vision, and dedication as CEO of Agenzija Żgħażagħ over the past 15 years.
What began as a vision grew into a home for youth work in Malta; an agency that not only created employment opportunities for youth workers, but also opened countless doors for young people to grow, learn, travel, participate, and believe in their potential.
Ms Teuma did not simply lead an agency; she built a community rooted in care, passion, inclusion, and belief in young people. Her work has touched the lives of so many, and her legacy will continue to live on through every youth worker empowered by Agenzija Żgħażagħ and every young person whose journey was shaped by its opportunities.
Thank you for your commitment, for believing in the value of youth work, and for planting seeds that will continue to flourish for generations to come.
Wishing you all the very best in this new chapter of your life. May you always carry with you the pride of knowing that your impact has been profound and lasting. Your legacy will continue to inspire many for years to come.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our colleague youth worker, Charles Henry Micallef.
Charles was a dedicated youth worker within the Gozo Unit at Agenzija Żgħażagħ, where he touched the lives of many young people and colleagues through his kindness, commitment, and genuine care for others. His presence, support, and dedication to youth work will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.
We shall remember Charles for the positive impact he made, the deep conversations shared, and the difference he brought to the lives of young people in Gozo and beyond.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Charles. Your legacy lives on in the lives you’ve touched. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
