Our seventh professional roundtable brought together stakeholders from different sectors to discuss the topic of Men and Boys in Human Trafficking.

The discussion focused on the often-overlooked experiences of male victims and the barriers to identification and support. Through the sharing of knowledge, experiences, and good practices, professionals explored ways to strengthen collaboration and improve support systems for all victims of trafficking.

These roundtables continue to provide an important space for dialogue and collective action amongst professionals working in the field. Thank you to all those who attended and discussed this important topic.

One of our colleagues recently appeared on F Living to speak about human trafficking, shedding light on how this issue can be hidden in plain sight. During the discussion, they highlighted key red flags to look out for, such as signs of control, exploitation, and restricted freedom, while also explaining how individuals can safely report concerns. The segment aimed to raise awareness and encourage the public to take action, reminding everyone that recognising the signs and speaking up can make a real difference. Thank you for the opportunity!

Residents at the our safehouse took part in a fun and interactive Easter egg hunt, where each hidden egg contained a trivia question about Malta, turning the activity into both a game and a learning experience. After some lighthearted competition, the workers and the residents enjoyed some picnic food in the sun.
