The Ministry responsible for European Funds would like to announce the launch of call for project proposals for Non-Governmental Organisations/Voluntary Organisations and Social Partners under priority - 𝐅𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐥:

Yesterday, 29th April 2026, the Malta Police Force 👮 inaugurated a fleet of 30 specialised vehicles 🚓 for the Rapid Intervention Unit (RIU) in Kalkara Square. Of these, 16 vehicles are co funded under the Internal Security Fund (ISF) through the project “Enhancing the protection of public spaces through the procurement of specialised vehicles”, with a total investment of €1,006,656.

This investment strengthens security 🚨 in public areas by enhancing the RIU’s operational control, surveillance, and rapid response capabilities, enabling swift and effective intervention where it matters most.
