Working with animals, especially wild animals, involves experimentation an learning.
As the breeding season is closing in, we built a new nest design for our rabbits. Our past designs where not always very succesful!
However I'm glad to say that rabbits seemed to take to the new design immediately 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Illum fetaħ l-istaġun tradizzjonali tal-kaċċa tal-fenek. Il-kaċċa tal-fenek għanda għeruq fondi fl-istorja u l-kultura Maltija u b'daqxejn għaqal tidta tkun waħda etika u sostenibbli.

Yesterday, students reading for a
BSc in Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing and BSc in Horticulture participated in a Wild Rabbit distribution survey.
This survey, was carried out on Comino and will help us better understand the way Wild Rabbits use different habitats.

It's Vaccination time for our rabbits.
A big thanks to the Class 6.1B Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Animal Management and Veterinary Nursing students @ MCAST Centre of Agriculture, Aquatics & Animal Sciences for their work and dedication.
It's truly heartening seeing up and coming professionals show so much interest in our project and conservation in general 🙏🏻
