BUDGET 2021|Another measure announced in this year's budget speech was the extension of the First Time Buyers' Scheme to a tax exemption over the first €200,000 of the taxable value.
Previously set at €175,000, this exemption is designed to further relieve tax burdens on those purchasing their first home or other immovable property.

BUDGET 2021|In this evening's budget speech, the Minister for Finance announced that amongst other measures, the Stamp Duty reduction first introduced by virtue of L.N. 240 of 2020 has been extended.
What's important to note is that the 1.5% tax rate applies only to promise of sales which are registered by the 31/3/2021 and finalised by the 31/12/2021.
