Head of Department Dr Claire Casha was an invited speaker at Ronald McDonald House Charities Malta's conference on family-centred mental health entitled 'Mental Health Through a Family Lens: Bridging Models, Building Futures' held on Wednesday.
Her address focused on why family-centred care is important, and on the conditions needed to make it happen including a supportive infrastructure for staff. She highlighted the need for staff training on diversity and inclusion and on challenges involving social media and GenAI.
