Hi! My name is Kim, and I’m a medical master’s student from the Netherlands. I’m currently doing my internship at the Superintendence of Public Health and carrying out research on smoking in Malta.

I’ve created a short survey that takes around 5–8 minutes to complete. It focuses on to***co and ni****ne use, as well as people’s knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to smoking.
The survey is open to all people residing in Malta aged 18 and over. It is being conducted through the Superintendence of Public Health within the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing.

Participation is completely voluntary and anonymous, and all responses will be used only for public health research.
It would mean a lot if you could take a few minutes to fill it in. Your input would really help us understand the situation better.

Today, we lost a truly valued colleague, Mr. Joseph Stafrace.

Mr. Stafrace was a steadfast pillar within our Selection Boards, generously contributing his time, expertise, and integrity even after his retirement. His dedication to public service and his commitment to fairness and professionalism left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

His sudden and unexpected passing has come as a profound shock to us. His continued active involvement and unwavering commitment to his work remained evident until the very end.

He will be deeply missed for his wisdom, integrity, and calm guidance within our offices.

On behalf of the People Management Division within the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing, the Director General extends sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
