Consumers should be able to trust what they see online โ But at least 30% of traders display discounts incorrectly during major sales events.
A recent EU-wide check shows that misleading pricing is still common during events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Together with national consumer protection authorities, we examined 314 online traders across the EU and European Economic Area, finding common issues:

National consumer authorities can follow up with traders and ask for necessary changes.

๐จ Travel Alert โ Brussels Airport & Train Disruptions ๐จ
A national strike is expected to affect operations at Brussels Airport on 12 March 2026. As a result, all departing passenger flights have been cancelled, and some arriving flights may also be affected.
โ ๏ธ Train services in Belgium will also be disrupted from 8 March to 11 March 2026.
If you are planning to travel to or through Brussels during these dates, we recommend checking your flight or train status with your carrier before travelling.
